Quoted from Blackbeard:Is it me, or is the skill shot damn hard sometimes?
I ordered a replacement spring just to make sure the correct one is in there, but I make the shot about 4/10 times.
I can make mine 90% of the time.

Quoted from Jam_Burglar:Hmm, if I even get to 1/2 way back mine is gone.
Same here. I was just saying.
Quoted from pacman11:How do you consistently hit the secret passage shot on this game? Seems like an impossible shot to me..
For me its just a lucky shot.
Quoted from dluth:I have got a blank space to the right of the No Way Out entrance - it's really bugging me as the GI lamp is blinding.
Looking at pics of other machines there is something there, but I can't find out what it is exactly. Can anyone help, and a source online for the plastic/decal or whatever it is would be great!
Ps my high score issue above has cleared up after I swapped out the ROMimage.jpg (Click image to enlarge)
The end of your ramp is broken and missing.
Quoted from urbanledge:Well get them out or you'll be in trouble.
That circuit is 14v (maybe 20v) so use 194s like the manual says!
Quoted from btw75:You could get LEDs that will take it, but yes I agree - if they are regular playfield LEDs they will melt.
No, they are the ones that came with the LED kit from cointaker and they just don't look real good.
Quoted from pin2d:Hello, I am new to the club as of a few weeks ago and love this game! I have one question I haven't found by searching so far - is it typical for Bigfoot's head hair to be flat pressing against the glass?
IMG_3749.jpg
It isn't affecting game play at all. But I just feel a bit bad for him, or maybe he just has a big head.
Something is wrong there. Check to see if he is down all the way.
Well sometimes the snow melts and that in turn fills the lakes and that in turn is a cause for the water to rise and that in turn causes the need for a dam release. Thats when its a good time to go rafting. So the snow does kind of make sense.
Quoted from Mokthemagicman:I wasn't going to but I was going to buy a few bulbs in case they go out. I will watch the TNT and find out what bulb it is.
Like Thelaw says they are 94s and you should get them at the auto parts store near you.
Quoted from Fifty:#194 you can get them from digikey;
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/visual-communications-company-vcc/194/CM194-ND/4175854
Its easier to get them at the auto parts store.
Quoted from Fifty:In Canada it's not.
You guys don't have auto parts stores up there?
Quoted from yzfguy:Ya threw them in the back of the car?! I would had them wrapped up!
I cringed when I saw that also.
Quoted from jsyjay:'m glad you guys are so bothered about my powder coats well being!
Not bothered but concerned.
Quoted from billsfanmd:I have a flipper button led set from coin taker thats about 6 months old...Cant see where to get 12v. It mentions the board below the left flipper but all the connections are used. Any other easy place grab 12v?
They draw so little you should be able to tap off the 12v from one of the leads on the coin door board.
Quoted from kidchrisso:That's a bull shit statement...LED's work awesome in the topper.
I took my leds out and like it much better.
Quoted from rdbronko73:Everyone has chrome. I want something different.
The reason most people go chrome is because nothing looks better on that game.
Quoted from yzfguy:If you launch at full speed, mine goes sdtm. That way it's a skill shot to barely clear the top hill and use the upper flipper. I bet someone put a weaker spring in yours to avoid newbie frustration.
Mine does the same. Also check the plunger length. I had a problem like that and the plunger was a little shorter and it would not go around until I changed the plunger with the correct one.
Quoted from Ive:Has anyone ever had a TILT on WH2O that has just locked the game up though ??
Yes I have but it was so long ago I do not remember why it did that. The only reason I remember it is because of you bringing it up.
Quoted from Blitzburgh99:I have a couple of burned out bulbs in the topper. Thinking I read a post about those bulbs being special ones. Anyone have a link to where I can get spares?
What ever you do dont put LEDs in there. You will alter the water fall effect.
I believe you can also buy these at your local auto parts store. Mine down the road had them in stock.
Quoted from delt31:is there anyway to control the speed of the flicker of the bottom lights that illuminate the topper?
I dont believe there is,but why would you want to?
Quoted from chaosrooster:Shopping out my game, the left screw hole for the flap to my insanity falls ramp looks like big foot got hungry and took a bite out of it! The screw isn't really holding very well. Is there any way to fix this or should I just let it be? I was thinking of patching it up with some wood filler and using the screw to form a new groove but I wasn't exactly sure.
[quoted image][quoted image]
You could fix that with saw dust and epoxy mixed together.
Quoted from djreddog:So I checked all the fuses, no issues. Reseated the cable for J127 and no change. Confirmed that none of those solenoids fire in test mode.
Thoughts on what to look at next?
Bad trace under a leaky cap? That just happened to me on my TAF.
Quoted from djreddog:Here is one for the group. Recently my pops and slings stopped working. Below is everything I have done. Thoughts?
- Checked ALL fuses outside of the fuse holders, all good
- Checked voltage at TP6, got 50V
- Checked pin2 on J107, good
- Checked all lugs on the 3 pops and the 2 slings, all good at 71v
- Checked the outside of the fuse holder for fuse 104, good
- Unplugged J107, and tested voltage on pin2 directly, 71.3v
- Unplugged J127, lifted playfield and ran alligator clip from ground wire to brown wire on each of the coils for the pops, all pops fired
- J127 does not look burned or anything and doesn't appear that it has ever been repinned
- Checked logic on chip U4 by putting game in solenoid test, repeat, and then testing the 2nd pin from the top on the right side, it reads 5.02, and never dips/or changes state
I'm out of options!
I had a sim problem on another machine and it was the IDC connector where it plugged into the board. replaced with molex and all was fine.
Quoted from PinDeLaPin:I still haven't hit 1 billion yet, closest i've gotten is 942 million. If I didn't have this whole job thing to do I could spend more time playing pinball and get a higher score
Im with you on this one. The whole job thing is getting to be a drag.
Quoted from fiberdude120:Chrome is king. Stay safe, chrome looks great and will not go out of style.
Quoted from mbeardsley:I prefer the traditional stainless
Either works for me.
I would remove the playfield and repair it before it gets any worse. Than from there you can probably repair easier without worry of it falling apart.
Is there a way you could stand it on edge and have some glue seep into the wood before you clamp it to dry?
