Joined the club tonight.
Playfields really nice and clean. Ramps are really nice and polished. Original nice topper. Issue is the cabinet. Some normally stuff but there are a few chips of wood that needs sanded and bondo. Bad one by shooter housing.
Man after spending a ton of money and time restoring Indiana Jones to mint not sure if i want to do it again and just play and enjoy wh20.
It would up the value if restored.
Do regular rad cals or mirrored ones?
Quoted from PinballGalore:Just radcaled on a whim tonight after having them lying around for two or three years. Love it

Mirco right? How were the blues? Heard they were off from original. I’m thinking of doing the mirror rad cals but those look nice.
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:I have never seen the Whitewater RadCals in person, but, if you need them, then chances are the blue color on your originals is faded out anyway. Once you install the RadCals, even if the blue isn't exact to original, it will look 1000% better and no one will ever say "man, looks good, but the blue is a gradient or 2 off from original". I'm just being blunt and practical, but I say, if your game needs decals anyway, RadCals are a nice option. I have installed them on a BSD which is notorious for fading, and the Radcals look awesome! If you've been on the fence about installing some, go for it! I think you'll like them
Yeah did my Indiana Jones and looks amazing. Here is pic of mirror version. Little more money.

Swapped the other one in to make sure - left coil locked and my color DMD was scrambled (didn't see that before).
Put the Road Show one back in. All good again.
Now the important question, which replacement?
Fliptronics II from Marco $140
or
Homepin Fliptronics board from Pinball Life $90
Is there a consensus on which is better?
Thanks for your help.
Do the expensive one. Tried cheap one and had few issues .
Talked to guy that makes the skull mountain mods. Had to escape the uk due to covid lockdown crap so prob a month till gets back.
Ordered cabinet decals from custom pinball in France. $190 euros shipped. Best decals I could find. Didn’t want to try rad cals on it since blues don’t look good. Gonna be a fun restore. Hopefully not a nightmare like Indiana Jones was.
Finally received my cabinet decals from custom pinball. I think these look good. Not as nice as original mint art but better than my faded and old cabinet or rad cals. Blues are better than my faded ones definitely different in some lights.
