Quoted from Drac:

I added a few pine trees to my game. I think they look quite good scale-wise and fit the theme. I bought them from eBay and when received them found that the green stuff on the trees can drop a bit on the playfield. I sprayed a little clear coat on them before I mounted them and all good.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Thats an awesome looking Whitewater!

Quoted from Drac:

Thanks for the compliment. I've had the game for maybe 15 years and done various "restores" on it over the years. Right now, pretty much everything on it has been replaced with new parts at some point over the years. The playfields are the originals but had them restored and clear coated. The only flaw with the main playfield is that there was a little bit of planking that you can still see if you look from side on with light reflecting but you can't see it from a player's position. The surface is beautiful and like glass.

I've had my Whitewater for around 7 years. The playfield is in pretty good shape for an original except for a section with some planking. I put a playfield protector on it and it looks pretty good. Now I'm on the fence about a playfield swap. I think I'm just bored!

Quoted from Shenanigander:

Ok here's the question of the day.... to LED or not to LED the topper. Sounds like you could lose the waterfall effect with LED's. What has your experience been?

I put LEDs in mine and hated it! You lose the waterfall effect. I've since switched back to incandescent.

I upgraded my translight to a cpr mirrored back glass.
Looks amazing! I definitely recommend it.

I just got my new mountain set from Starship Fantasy. They look awesome!
They seem alot thicker than the original. Are they able to withstand an air ball?

Quoted from woody76:

My flipper wear spot was in the same spot but a little smaller. I used the picture someone posted here and after hours of sizing it fixing up the artwork I made this decal. The lines are scratches on my glass. The decal is the entire Wet Willy guy with hat and all. Turned out pretty good.

Great job. Looks flawless!

Quoted from EEE:

Not to discourage you, but the Pinball Center ones are really thin and might not survive many ball hits.
After procuring a Pinball Center pair, I ended up buying a full set of the Starship Fantasy ones and they seem a lot more durable. Plus they all match in color.

I bought the Starship Fantasy boulders as well. Very durable and the the color looks good.

My poor man topper is done. Thank you for all the advices.

Quoted from hypnotoad:

Anyone got one of these and want to comment on how the lighting from behind looks compared to the original translite.
Honestly, I'd prefer to stick as close to the original as possible

The colors on the cpr glass are very vibrant. There is also some mirroring. I consider it a major improvement over the dull looking translight. Same artwork, just better.

Quoted from Fatsquatch:

I just replaced my original translite with a mirrored backglass from CPR. I was concerned that the difference between the two wouldn’t justify the expense, but I’m quite pleased with the purchase. The backglass is lovely.

I have the cpr glass as well. It's a huge improvement! The colors are awesome!
