Can anyone take a photo of the original rocker on/off switch for me? Want to see if this one was replaced or not. I want to get the game as close to original as possible. The line cord was also not original...there were no hacks I could see in the game which is good besides what i think was the on/off switch under the cabinet. Thanks!

Hey Peter the parts list is technically correct. However, I personally do not like that coil on the left flipper and I changed mine to a 11629. Feels much better imo and seems to make disaster drop ramp more fluid. I have had zero issues with it, no plastics cracking or anything negative at all.

#4158 4 years ago

Just as a reference point as well here is a coil list description.

Just joined the club with a solid players machine. Looking forward to spiffing it up on a budget. Starting out with caninet paint touch ups.

just installed a shaker from Pinshakers in my game, really nice effects, perfect game for a shaker. You can adjust when the shaker goes off between flashers and solenoids. I have mine going off on the insanity falls, big foot cave and the whirlpool flashers. a shaker is really a perfect addition to this game given that it's a rumbling rafting game!

Love the coin slot

Yep, solid players machine. This is/was a TNT amusements bargain basement machine. They did board work and reflowed solder, but no other work to this machine. They did the battery off-set and a few other things so the boards (the hard part) are probably good a few decades. It was cheaper out the door than any other White Water on the market and plays SOLID. I've got some restoration work ahead of me.

It needs:
LEDs
Rubbers
Flipper Rebuild (top only)
Deep Clean
New Mountains
Ramp Flame Polish
Cabinet Wrap
Coin Door
Instruction Cards
New DMD (Color?)
Better Speakers

It will probably get:
LEDs
Rubbers
Flipper Rebuild
Mountain "Restoration" We'll see how it looks
Extreme application of NOVUS 2 on ramps.
Deep Clean
Cabinet Touch Up (in progress)
Instruction Cards
Coin Door "Restoration"

I'm also still in the honeymoon phase, but this may be my new favorite game.

I'm doing the same. Occasionally I stalk @Endprodukt's profile to see if he's been around. I hope he finds the time to finish it. He's a pro. Adding the shaker will be epic.

where is the info on the pinsound shakers? how is it powered and what triggers it? what's the price on it shipped to the US?

one of the benefits of the Pinshaker is it does not draw power from the game.

Anyone know where to find new White Water mountains and/or have a used set they would be willing to part with?

I have a cool lit Skull Mountain mod I'll trade someone for their old mountains and/or ramps.

I have this cool lit Skull Mountain mod that someone traded me when I got my Fish Tales that looks to be this one for sale for $185 here https://www.pinballdecals.com/PartsByGamePages/WhiteWater_Page.html
Here is a video of it in action.

I also have a set of Fish Tales ramps if anyone is interested in those as trade.

If anyone knows where I can get a full set of the mountains new or used please send me a link. Everyone is sold out and the only used set I can find is missing the mountain I need (#1 in pictures).

Color is a little off and you have to figure out how to get it from Germany.

https://www.pinball.center/en/shop/pinball-parts-by-game/white-water/3881/rh-boulder-mountain-for-white-water?c=0

But it works until the Starship Fantasy one comes out.

#4179 4 years ago

Just 2 more weeks this time guys seriously! What a freaking joke. All we hear from larry over at starship-fantasy is 2 more weeks. Gotta be the worlds worst businessman. Lets just go back in this thread and count how many times he tells people those boulder sets will be ready in 2 more weeks. This clown has zero credibility and if he is incapable of producing them then have the decency to sell the damn molds to someone like Mark@freeplay40 who is more than competent and capable of producing a good product. Sorry bout the rant here folks but I am sick and tired of hearing this 2 week shit for the past 2 years!

#4180 4 years ago

My bad, thought I seen him post that they were ready.

Almost, waiting for paint process.

#4182 4 years ago
Quoted from Lermods:

Just installed the latest home rom, which has the ball saver in it. Game boots into german, thought I was going to have to mess with resistors on the cpu to get it back to English, but just changing the language setting in the adjustment menu fixed it. Took me a while to find the setting as I don’t speak or read German,
Thanks to astill entertainment for the ROM, great service out of our northern neighbor.

It will change back to German whenever you change the batteries or restore default settings. That doesn't happen often so no biggie, but the resistor change will permanently fix that from happening.

Thanks. Looks awesome next to Fish Tales but need to sell Congo. Great game but need to sell it to clear some room. Looking forward to diving into Whitewater (pun intended). Need to shop it out with Comet leds, Titan rubbers, and fix a few minor things. Like to get ocd boards and colordmd but that might be for later.

Can you provide details? Hooked up to solenoids or flashers? Which ones specifically?

I’m planning to get the shaker and this would be good reference info, thanks.

You have a choice in the setup to hook to solenoids or the flashers. I chose the flashers set up. Whenever the insanity falls, whirlpool or big fit cave flashers go off, the shaker goes off. You can set it via supplied dip switches on their board to have as many as 8 flashers or solenoids trigger the shaker. It’s really a very nice setup. Shaker also has a motor control so you can set the intensity of the shake.

Anyone have experience (good or bad) with the 3D translite? I need a new Wh20 translite and it looks like the 3D one isn't THAT much more expensive than a regular one, but wanted opinions.

Hi JimFNB,

Thank you for your interest in our Pinshakers universal shaker motor kit. Attached is the current dip switch settings for White Water. There are also links to all of the dip switch settings on our site by either going to the "Documentation" tab of the kit you are interested in or by going to the "Support" link in the footer section of every page.

When you check out, you can choose to receive either both "A" and "B" harnesses or you can even choose for us to create your own customized harness for you. Perhaps you want to trigger the motor with the "bigfoot body" and "insanity falls" flasher, as well as the "backbox raft" flasher and "pop bumpers". This is possible with the customized harness option.

Hope that helps!

Best Regards,

Robert Goebel
