Congratulations on joining the club its a great game. You also are missing the light shield up top that covers the light boards that directs the light up towards the topper.

Hi WH2O fellas!

I want to change my rusty playfield hangers for new ones, and I have been wondering whether the ones I have right now are the real originals for the game. Mine measure 3"1/8 long on the hook side. Looking at Mantis I have the choice between a short or a long: https://mantispinball.com/product-category/misc/

Which ones have you got on your game ?

Nah, why clean something functional when you can throw money at it instead.

Mantis amusements sells the hangers

Really great! How do they look backlit? Also, are you selling these?

#3315 1 year ago

They look perfet! I ordered to print it at 20 inkjet slices in backlite. Result is a piece with a very solid colours because this amount of ink. Black colour is almost opaque. There is no grain, of course!

I spent/spend a lot of time restoring artworks doing my best and they are printed with the best quality.

Do you need a copy?

As we are talking about a translite, a picture is worth a thousand words.

#3317 1 year ago

Yes, most of the cases!

For example, I´m developing custom pinball cards just now and I´m ordering to print in chrome vinyl with gloss protective lamination and it is difficult to capture their beautiful taking a photo. I fact, it is so hard!

With chrome vinyl, all colours are so heavy, powerful with reflections, colours become in metallic colours; white colour is not a white, it is a mirror effect, flare effects, etc.

Example:

https://zonaarcade.forumcommunity.net/?t=60863513#entry435116782

I have a lot of examples.

I put an LED colordmd in and getting lots of light bleed around the edges. Any easy solutions?

Also...does that coloring look correct? I am
Colorblind and need to know if any adjustments need to be made.

In the home? I'd argue it's probably better than having the tub on. As long as you don't have any curious cats that'll jump up there and potentially damage it, I think going tub-less is a good thing: No heat buildup, no waterfall bubbling.

In home...no cats

Is anyone using Leds in the topper? I'm going to be using an led ocd, and in order for it to work error free all your feature lamps need to be led that would include these I'm,pretty sure .

Nope. I’ve ledocd and giocd in my whitewater.

Still have incandescents on the topper, some flashers on the playfield , and all flashers in the backbox.

LEDs in the topper look aweful

Agreed. Led's simply don't work in the topper. They also are not affected by the OCD board.

The topper lights aren't driven by the LED OCD. Totally separate so you're fine leaving them as incandescents.

Whope, Bryan beat me to it.

Thankyou kind folks!

#3333 1 year ago

I’ll echo the other sentiments given by others here. LEDs in the topper look like absolute garbage. You lose the whole waterfall effect.

#3334 1 year ago

Hot or cold garbage? Thanks Def don't want that

Haha, let’s call it a hot dumpster fire. It’s doubly cringey when people put blue LEDs in the topper. Holy smokes does it look bad. Looks like a blue strobe light paparazzi party up there.

yesh23 that's basically what I was asking consensus... Don't use Leds. Stick with the stock #194 bulbs

Hey folks, can anyone point me in the right direction for the correct size 9 pin CPU connectors & headers? They seem smaller than the rest of the .156 sized ones. Marco seems to have a few different choices for them and I got confused. I just got this awesome game last week and have been having an issue with a switch column not registering. The associated pin on the J207 connector and header have corroded a bit and I wanted to replace them.

I joined the club this week...it still needs some love to work 100% and later on a full shop out to give it back its former glory.

The only major headache i have atm, is the missing topper...and i'm not talking about the dome or the lamp boards and the pcb.
Any tip or advise how to get to a repro, original or replacement topper would be very great.

I found info about a repro they wanted to do a few years back at twistedpins but i guess this never happend for some reasons.
Anyone know if CPR or somebody else is in the process of doing something in this direction?
