VACATION JACKPOT last night! First time ever. Hot damn that was fun.
It Finished up somewhere around 850,000,000. 1.2 Billion is the high on my machine by previous owner.

I know. It was only worth 202MM. Couldn't start 5x first. One of the things that makes is crappy in competition, but awesome when not.
Starting 5X PF using the ramp instead of No Way Out when multi ball is ready is difficult. Shot is so damn fast. Such a cool pin.
Quoted from Guinnesstime:Starting 5X PF using the ramp instead of No Way Out when multi ball is ready is difficult.
Ha I know....and you hit it up there like 8 times flailing each one Can be frustrating for sure
Quoted from TheLaw:Ha I know....and you hit it up there like 8 times flailing each one Can be frustrating for sure
But when you combo that ramp with the correct upper playfield shot..... oh, it feels so good!
Quoted from delt31:so my dumb question of the day....
can anyone tell me if this is an original power drive board or Rottendog? I don't see the name anywhere and I've never owned a rottendog before but also never owned a HEP restored game before.
[quoted image]
That's original.
Quoted from Allibaster:That's original.
nice thought it was but wasn't 100%. Thanks!
Every Rottendog board would be labeled on the front side so you can easily see the name. Also the layout of most aftermarket boards do not match up with the drawings in the manuals, which also means they may use different components than original boards. So you do need to know which manufacturer board you are repairing.

LOL now I'm also confused
Guys this was cleared up years ago, Whitewater is one word as it appears on the front of the actual manual.
Now all the other spellings of White Water on page 2 and service notices are incorrect.

I am in for a Mine playfield decal as well.
If I remember correctly the shipping for it was crazy if you were not getting a large order to throw it in with.

20180906_151705 (resized).jpgwhen did this white mountain mod theme become a reality? It doesn't seem to be in line with the feel of the pin - I'm just wondering who created it?

Satan himself. Wait till you hear the overblown discussion on how the mountains should be snowy since the water is flowing from glaciers up north...etc etc.
I wish I were joking.

So many posts, could not find anything, does anyone know what color blue to use, I'm about to do a full restore. Thanks Mike
Quoted from twinmice:Also, who has the best cab decals? I remember years ago a buddy of mine did a restore on a WW and the front decal was really off between the bottom and the start button. I asked him and he does not remember where they came from. Thanks Mike
Don't think you can go wrong with PPS

Everyone knows the best time for white water rafting is in the winter....
I always thought the mod was weird. The entire playfield is a graphic of a canyon, without any reference to snow or winter. Now, if you could change the playfield and translite art to a snow or sledding theme, then it'd be pretty sweet.

Hey Mike - I used the PPS decals with the same color code as FH and it worked well.
See pics here - https://br80.smugmug.com/Whitewater-Chrome/
Lowes - Valspar - Base "C" Semi-Gloss
Code = Amount
102 = 2Y + 15.5
113 = 5
115 = 26.5
Picked up a very nice Wh20....Its shopped and cleaned up but cant get a glass tap on Insanity falls. Ive waxed upper pf and the ramp is new. Not sure how much pitch would effect it but my levelers are about half way up. Upper flipper is aligned so its a smooth transition form ball guide. Only thing I can think of new plunger/sleeve for flipper? Maybe that would clean up and slop in the flipper power. Anyone else have a fix for theirs?

Why the hell you want a glasshitting ball?

It’s one of the coolest white water “accidental” features.

Quoted from Plumonium:Are those new ramps and decals? Nice work buddy!
Appreciate it - Yes, new ramps and decals for this one.
Quoted from Soulrider911:The only thing I don’t have and have not done before is the backbox screen. Where did you get yours? Thanks!
Bought it from Matt Merfeld @merfeldma, not sure if he still makes them...but it's a great quality silk screen.

Quoted from twinmice:Wow, that is one awesome restoration! Good job!
Maybe I should have you do mine again!! Lol
Thanks Mike - I've backed off taking on more restore work...just not enough time and too much hassle. I'm working on my own collection for now, it should keep me busy at my own pace for a while. Glad the paint code helps!
Hey guys so I’m going to hopefully be getting ahold of a WW that I’m going to restore. I don’t have a spray gun, and have made out pretty well with spray paint this far. But WW Has a fairly unique blue. anyone know spray paint color that is at least close?
I pulled up an old article that Bryan_Kelly was mentioning Painter's Touch #1927... but I can’t seem to find it love any help cheers!

I guess they don't make that one anymore. Try Deep Blue. I think that's a bit closer than 1927.
