Hello, I'm about to purchase a White Water and was wondering if this mark is something common in White Water machines?
It looks like the Lost Mine shoots out the ball too fast and damages the playfield... is there a mod or fix for this?
Thanks!

Somewhat common yes.
Constant shooting out of the ball can do that if not taken care of.
I'd out some mylar over it and be done. I'm not sure if there's a sticker for it.

There is a sticker, or there was years ago when I owned one. Not sure if it's still available.

That damage spot is pretty far away from the kickout.
Usually if the kickout causes damage, it is much closer to the edge.

You must have the world's strongest kickout.

I was watching the White Water restoration videos of Pinball Shenanigans on Youtube and he seems to have the spot at the exact same place, which is at the end of the blue zig-zag.

Yep, pretty common actually. Most any WPC game with a similar kickout will have an associated wear spot.

My White Water has the same bare wood mark. the previous owner put a piece of mylar over it. I never noticed the bare wood/mylar area until i looked over the game. everything else is perfect. some buyers fine the "blemish" offensive.
