I'll say this: I finally saw a Pinball Bulbs kit in person on an AFM, and it's way less purple and clown puked in person. Tough to photograph the look properly.

Yep, got one in my IJ and it's spectacular. It was my first LEDding experience so learnt a bit about what looks good to use in my other pins without having to go the kit option.

Those photographs are why I won't buy anyone's kits, period. I've instead simply stocked up on on a variety of bulbs; and as I learn what I use more of, make sure those buckets stay better stocked. Thankfully, I've got more than a game or two, so this almost makes sense.

Quoted from FalconDriver:

I just recently set my game back up and purchased
the Bigfoot kit last week from Terry. All in on the incandescent look
as I have in my game with few blue led additions.
I'm was actually wondering what to do maybe for the mountains
for more pop but not too much. Will have to play around now
that I been playing more.PBLBIGFOOTMOD.JPG
The kit just arrived today but haven't put in yet.

Finally had time to install mine last night, took about 20 mins. It is pretty sweet! I may remove the reflector completely and use some sort of ultra-bright LED to give it a cleaner look (similar to what Tracelifter did for his spots.)

I used uncapped Comet warm whites under the boulder plastics. Also added two more sockets to the back canyon. It looks fantastic; the boulders do a stellar job of diffusing the light and they glow like a Christmas tree.

I'm an incandescent guy, but that does look good.

And just for kicks here is the game with all incandescents. I personally like incandescents better but I did notice the LEDs are brighter.

I know it's not super close to you(I checked the map lol) but we will be at CAX and you can check them out in person. Should have about 10 with our kits in them

Well, this is where I landed on LED'ing my White Water. I used the Pinball Bulbs extras kits for the upper and lower LED strips as well as the spotlights. I think they look good, but I would've preferred warm white up top and cool white on the bottom. The spotlights help out quite a bit. The rest is a mix of Comet, Cointaker, and Pinball Life LEDS.

It looks great.

I don't have a map, but this is essentially what I did:

-Color matched inserts with exception of "RIVER", which I did in blue
-->Use Pinball Life's smaller LEDs for small inserts, CoinTaker's supers for larger
-Comet Optimax natural whites under the slings
-Comet 2-LED fluted natural whites under lane dividers (frosted on left)
-Cointaker 4+1 warm white towers under pops and left mountains
-Comet warm white 2-LED fluted under back playfield plastics
-Comet natural white and one blue fluted by whirlpool GI
-Whirlpool is half white and blue Cointaker frosted, looks great when animated
-Upper playfield is Cointaker warm white frosted
-Very back is Comet 2-LED blue fluted

Quoted from Mamushka:

Yes it does (I make the mod). The light controller board attaches to the motor controller board for Bigfoot. No cutting, alligator clips and is 100% reversible.

Bigfoot lights up any time his head moves and when he stops and looks at you. Light is off when he is looking away from you (when he is "hiding"). Just sent Terry a new batch (looks like he is out right now). Not doing the hard sell here but there are about 25 left and they will not be made again. Too much cost in making a small run of boards, laser cut bracket, etc.

Mamushka, Thanks for the inspiration. Couldn't get one myself so I made my own.
