Hey,
Selling my White Water pinball machine. In great condition. I live in Ireland, Offers??
Hello Paul,
Have you considered posting some pictures of your machine? I'm sure it will do nothing but help your sale.
Yes, I will try get a few pictures on next couple of days. Is it logistically possible to send a pinball machine to the U.S with a decent budget?
Whats so unbelievable about that gnatty? have you seen ebay????? I am not here to brag about my pinball machine, i was just here to ask people with expertise of pinball machines their opinions on what it would be worth. The pinball is in perfect condition and i wanted to know if i am getting the right price for it. Is that too much to ask without snotty replies.
Quoted from mrw464:I don't know why you haven't posted pictures if you are truly trying to sell it
Or a price. This is a For Sale thread after all.
You just need to list the name of the item for sale, a picture and a price and Op failed on 2/3.
just sold it, thanks for the advice who gave it and up yours to the rest of the smart asses on this forum who are only looking for an argument.
I can't understand the flack the OP got on this thread
Who cares what he sells it for. !400 euros is like 1800 buck US. Seems really low, but maybe its junk.
Regardless, why the crap to the op on here? The thumbs down on his post? I don't get it.

I always thumb down a sales post like this one.
There's no price, no pics, and the location was narrowed down to "Ireland." If you're looking to move a pin at four figures, the least you can do is take the time to properly list it.
I'm glad the OP managed to sell the pin, and that both parties are happy. With that said, I hope his next sales thread shows a but more effort.

I didn't know you wrote the book on the proper selling etiquette on pinside? Or that there was a "correct" way to sell.
Some post pics, others don't. No need to thumbs down it. Maybe he didn't have pics yet.
If you were interested (I'm betting you weren't), just pm for pics. It's THAT easy.

I respectfully disagree with the above. Not looking to get baited into an argument here, I simply hit the thumbs down button on a half-hearted sales thread. I took the time to justify it, and next time I will not.
Quoted from swampfire:Were you a hall monitor in high school?
More like the guy in high school that you'd write about in your diary, assuming I took the time to acknowledge you were alive...
Again, I'm not the only guy to give it a thumbs down, I'm just the one that replied. Next time, I'll let someone else get blasted.
We've all seen the scams, and it tends to make us leery us any "deals" that the internet lays at our feet, and sometimes you actually get someone who really doesn't know our estimate of the worth of a game and they just need to sell it. This was the real deal. I know the buyer, and he called me today to let me know it was in the back of his car. He said it was in good shape, but can't check it out fully until he gets home tonight. Finding a game in Ireland is tough, selling a game in Ireland is tougher. I've only met two other collectors since I've been here. He'd been after the game a few weeks. The seller just went on Pinside to get an idea of what it was worth. The good news for me is that the buyer likes my STTNG, so there might be a trade in my future.

You're like that weird dude in Billy Madison with the list of all the bullies in high school.
You're not smearing on lipstick right now, loading up a shotgun, are you?
