I have a WW with the top row of Backbox GI lights not working (violet, white/violet string). I have checked continuity across all points. I have replaced the q12 triac and transistor. I have even replaced the U1 chip. I have checked and rechecked for shorts on the sockets. I am getting proper voltage from transformer through J115.

White/Violet White/Green White/Yellow reading 7.7v on j121

Yellow .8v Green .8v Violet 6.3v

I feel the 6.3v on the return Violet could be the problem?

Any ideas?

any voltage on any of the sockets?

If not, it sounds like a connector issue, especially since you said you had voltage on 121.

yes, at the socket 7.7v on the white/violet and 6.3v on the violet. Forgot to say new connectors and headers already replaced.

You should measure voltages at J115 between paired conductors (e.g., between green and white/green); it sounds like you are measuring to ground, which will give confusing results. If you measure between paired conductors you may find that you have zero volts across the violet and white/violet wires. If that's the case then I'd check for a break in continuity between the 9-pin connector at the transformer and the connector for J115, particularly the violet and white/violet.
