You will be happy you did that. Great game.

#4 11 years ago

And yes my topper needs a looking at.

#5 11 years ago

Congrats!

#6 11 years ago

Congrats fun game.

#7 11 years ago

Hey,

Congrats on that one; had one for a while. Fun game, funny thing is I found I probably enjoyed it most once I got it cleaned up to sell it. Always great to get a new one in the house.

Congrats! Just got myself a WH2O a couple of weeks ago, and absolutely love it. Very addictive gameplay, great music, and satisfying shots. A b**** to clean though.

Check to see if you have a Rottendog board in there; some of the boards need an upgrade for a couple of resistors to make the topper lights work.

#9 11 years ago

Original boards... 3 games after set up Wet Willy was defeated. And no Mike, I was on factory defaults with no bread ties HA.

#10 11 years ago

Great game, great rules, and super fun! I love the "campiness" of WH2O. Congrats on your pickup!

I was on my way home and I noticed my exhaust sounded quite loud. I look down and I see that my door ajar light is on. "Well shit!" I tried to get over to the shoulder but some joker was blocking my way. He is frantically waving at me and yelling for me to pull over. I am trying to guess why. Did I cut him off? Did he see my door wasn't securely latched? I pulled over and he jumped out really quick and said, "Hey do you collect pinball machines? I saw your bumper sticker decal and then I saw the machine in the back" He was trying to sell me an old wood rail from '52 I am not interested but if any one else is I have his number. Near Louisville.

nice pick-up, big step-up, you'll love the game

#13 11 years ago

Congrats on the WH2O! Out of all the games I've sold, its the one I miss the most.

#14 11 years ago

Love my WH2O. It doesn't get much love from the ladies in my house for some reason, and the wife suggests we should replace it, but I just can't do it. Congrats and enjoy!

#15 11 years ago

just got mine (it's my only pinball so far) one month ago. Here in Europe they are waaay less expensive then in US (I paid equivalent of $850 for a fully functional one without topper, needs cleaning and divot repair). Great pin, great theme, deep set of rules. Enjoy

#16 11 years ago

Enjoy! One of my favorites.

#17 11 years ago

Cool, a pinhead living close to me. Great find on the Whitewater.

#18 11 years ago

Congrats on the whitewater! Love that game

#19 11 years ago

Congrats, NAVL should be at my house monday or tuesday w/ mine......can't wait. Just got the fedex boxes today w/ all the extras. Just having my morning coffee staring at the topper sitting on my kitchen table.... impatiently waiting for it's perch.

#20 11 years ago

Looks like you can take it off your wishlist now too.

#21 11 years ago

Good for you, (current)futurepinhead!

#22 11 years ago

Congrats and love my White Water too! Planning to give it the special treatment very soon and make her shine again.

#23 11 years ago

Here's mine
Can't wait to plunge the first ball... again.

Congrats!

Europe is a big place. Can you point me in the right direction where to buy one for $850?

+1 which is why I went and got another one.

Quoted from futurepinhead:

There's a seperate PCB inside the head (top left) that drives those lights. I'd check input and output voltages first. The bulbs are #194 or #161 (12v bulbs). If it has 555's up there they will blow fast.

If none of that works, I think there are two transistors that drive the circuit, so you would have to begin backtracking to those.

Yes, definitely check the bulb type. My topper was working, then went out. Sure enough, checked the bulbs and they were all 555s. Replaced with 194s and it works beautifully.

#29 11 years ago

jk2171, So you just replaced them and they started working again?

The seller did say he replaced them awhile back but they worked fine for a couple years after that. On my next day off ( a week from now ) I will be looking to see what bulbs they are. I have a suspicion that they are 555s.

#30 11 years ago

By the way Mike, if you are reading this thread and you are proud that your initials are on the picture as GC.... you have been replaced.

#31 11 years ago

Future...yep just replaced the bulbs and it started working. Hopefully it's that simple for you.

Also sent you a PM about the tftc LEDs you are selling.

So THIS is Pintucky's White Water. I've played it, kicked his butt on the only game we played together on it. Don't really care for the color changing LEDs but to each his own. It will be fun to play your Junk Yard futurepinhead.

#33 11 years ago

haha yeah I am currently putting all incandescent in it again, (sorry Mike). Yeah I love White Water but JY is a great game too. Wish I could keep both. Enjoy playing my old game.

#34 11 years ago

WH20 is an awesome game. I recently got mine put back together after some minor touch up and new clearcoat. Add some blue LED's under the whirlpool and select areas on the PF and you have one of the nicest looking games made IMHO.
