Quoted from fatality83:Any idea where the guy that is selling pinball glass is located? He said he was selling it out of his car. I want to go after work and maybe pick up a sheet
What's the price of a standard sheet? Thanks

And good pictures too. Lol Thanks
Thank you to all who brought games to play or share.

Your friendly show statistician here! We had 181 games in free play as of about noon today (not counting vendor games), and I'm pretty sure at least two more came in the door after I finished.
I know some left tonight, but we still have a pretty good selection, plus I'm sure mor will come in tomorrow morning. Thanks for helping this be a successful show!

There was an empty vendor spot next to me that got used as an overflow for games that came in because the free play lineup was completely packed. I walked through before leaving this evening and there are now some open spots scattered, but not a ton. If you bring a game and they suggest that they might be full, ask to be placed in the empty vendor spot next to KAHR.US Circuits. It has a dedicated power drop; hopefully this info lets a couple extras get in the door tomorrow!

Remember to thank Rich & his staff for all the hard work that goes into making York happen every year.
Overall everything looked great. The show really needs a few more vendors selling used machines & parts but otherwise the show was packed. With that said as a vendor in the flea market area I think not having more vendors worked to my advantage. We have already sold 7 of the 11 machines we took as well as a good many parts. Plus I sold another machine that never even made it into the show. So selling over 60% of the inventory we brought with a full day to go is impressive.
More "special request" parts to load this morning then off for the last day of a great show for 2018. I am already thinking about a couple more spaces in 2019 so I have room to bring more machines but that is a year away so I need to finish this show before starting to think about a load for next year!
By the way the shirt looked great for those of you that had negative things to say about it. I am glad Rich didn't change the original design! Rich told me a story about that design yesterday I don't want to share publicly without asking him but all I can say is if some people thought is was some type of commentary about Rich's feelings towards women you couldn't be more wrong. A woman was actually the person that decided on the design. Classic art is classic art - get over it!
I also want to take a minute to thank my past customers & friends for stopping by to say hello. It is always great to hear from all of you and fun meeting new people at every show.

Sabotage? Ha! Most likely it got played to the point where the leveler started to rotate on its own from so much nudging.
Gotta bring some stop nuts next show!
Great show this year. Very happy to see the number of Early Bally Solid States on the line, almost all in great shape! Lot of solid deals out there too.

Firepower II... fired up! Yikes.
No fuse on the bridges?
I was in the area when it was smoking. A dad and his son are there walking by. In total dad voice he says to his son "and that's why we can't have one in the house". The kid seemed to buy it but wasn't happy about it.
Here are your “A” division winners! Pretty intense final 4 games! Pinburgh scoring was in effect. After 2 games everyone had 8 points. Winner was determined on TNA, and came down to ball 3, with all the scores being within 100,000! Congrats everyone!
1st - Chad Hastings
2nd - Bob Choate
3rd - Elliott Keith
4th - Brad Ladutko

Thanks for bringing them and leaving them up. Everytime I tried to play dracula there was a bunch of people. It was one of the last games I got to play, I got mist multi ball and had a pretty decent game for never playing it before. Vampire I was dying to play but I couldn't get it to start, not sure if it wasn't on free play or what. Either way they are both beautiful with all the LED's and in stellar shape. Hope the repairs needed after the show isn't too bad.
Thanks everyone who brought a game or two out. I had a wonderful time. Picked up LED's for my Addams, got a DMD for my LW3, got stuff to shop the Addams, bought a few mods and played the crap out of a lot of pinball. Was there basically all day. Got to play some Alice Cooper which was cool. I loved Iron Maiden and Aerosmith. Played a lot of EM's and I mean a lot. So much so, I am pretty sure my next game will be my first EM. Even played some of the old tabletop bingo games which were surprisingly fun. My wife found a game she wants. World Cup Soccor. Neither of us are soccer fans but it was pretty addictive!! She was making goals left and right from the flippers. Got to play a lot of games for the first time and had a ball. The basketball (non pinball game was cool) and so was the monster gun game, I loved that thing. This day went way faster then it should of, can't wait till next year!! Here is a few pictures.

A big thanks to the people willing to share them through the rough and tough show environment!

I thought I was going to take the game of TNA. Shouldn't have told you all the rules
Thanks Bob! And I was betting on you too. You were on a roll and I just knew you were going to pass me.
As for the rules, thanks, but honestly I was just shooting for MB and wailing. We really owe a big shout out to Brad, he left me 2 MB’s staged! Thanks Brad!
Had a great time at the York show as usual, meeting old and new friends and playing games I've never seen or played before. Highlight for me was watching the 1962 Silver Sails unboxing, that was very cool and likely something I'll never get a chance to see again.
My Lost in Space re-theme held up very well and got about 300 plays over friday and saturday. Thanks to all those who offered nice comments on it. It was great to have so many people came up to me and chat about how much they loved the original 1965 TV show. Stern had a lot of success with Batman66 maybe their next vault game should a re-theme of their old Sega version into Lost in Space '65 version ?

I would of loved to play your Lost In Space but I never got around to it, there was always someone on it. I agree with the Silver Sails unboxing. I thought that was so cool. I watched it on Facebook when they were doing it. Did you happen to see if the game powered right on and played right away or did they have to do some work to get it up and running?
We had several pins set up for free play in our vendor space because they were "working projects" and we didn't want "working projects" in the freeplay area since we were not sure how they would hold up. We were pleasantly surprised everything we had set up to play basically worked great up until it was sold other than a couple stuck balls on WCS & one minor issue with Flash.
We had a couple machines set up that were not "fully working projects" that couldn't be played but we wanted to be able to show people they mostly worked and of course they didn't work flawlessly during the show since they were not fully working when we took them to the show. But the machines that we took as fully working projects stayed that way for 3 straight days of being played pretty much none stop.
We took a total of 11 machines and added an additional one Friday AM. Out of the 12 we sold 8 and traded one so basically 75% of what we took to the show didn't come back home. The crazy thing is 2 of the 3 machines that came back home were machines I thought would have been the first couple to sell? Anyway it was a great show for us as far as sales go but better yet we got to see a lot of old friends, talked to a lot of past customers, and had a great time overall.
Thanks again to Rich & his friends and family for doing all they do to make York a great show every year. The only thing that makes me a little sad is now we have to wait over 6 months for Allentown and a full year before another York. But I guess if shows happened locally more often we wouldn't look forward to them as much since they were going on all the time. Can't wait to see everyone again in a few months at Allentown.
Most importantly to me is --- my "curse" of not being able to set up at York is finally behind me! After 6 years of trying I FINALLY made it to a York Show!
Thanks Rich. It was my first time vending at a show (beyond free play). I did very well. My stupidly tricked out walking dead got played constantly (pictured above). It held up great! The only thing that could have been better for me is if my cpr gold playfield would have sold. I thought more people would like the build kits, but *shrug*. Thank you everyone who bought or enjoyed some of my stuff!
Quoted from fatality83:Did you happen to see if the game powered right on and played right away or did they have to do some work to get it up and running?
I cleaned the male plugs as there was some oxidation, hand-tested the motors and steppers and everything was perfect (except for one stepper).
I let Dennis know about that, but to rebuild the stepper the backglass would have had to have been pulled. As that stepper controlled the time tree (favorable to the player), I put a couple of dabs of pbr grease on it in place and worked it around.
I put a few drops of motor oil in the bearing tubes after part of Friday just in case, making sure to wipe off any excess around the tubes.
One flaky fuse holder (right out of the box!) And a few flaky sockets. Nothing major.
Dennis and his friend Jon are absolute treasures for bringing that game all the way from St. Louis to share with the entire pinball community. That was not something I'll forget any time soon. Thank you Dennis and Jon.
Thank you to all who played it, asked questions about the mechanics, learned the rules, and won! There were a few gate wins, many ok games, lots of big sectional and inline wins, but no blue section.
First time I had the opportunity to go both days. I was there from 8 a.m. to close each day and had a wonderful time. I would like to thank all of the people who organize and help run this show. I really look forward to it every year, especially since it's only a 10 minute drive to get to it LOL! I was also very pleased to see you kept the show shirt you advertised and had caused some controversy. I bought 2 first thing Friday morning because I assumed they would sell out and I believe they just about did! One last thing, THANK YOU for keeping the admission prices (and shirts), affordable and not raising them every year. When you are paying for a larger family to get in, it really adds up and every little bit saved means more you can spend at the vendor booths. GREAT SHOW!
Quoted from PinballSTAR:PinballSTAR booth - come Saturday and enjoy all the new stuff we have !
Joe, thanks for bringing all those new games! Lots to choose from!
We went to this show and had a blast. Our nine year old son has a future in this type of competition. I was able to play a few games that were on my list. There were a few vendors that I bought parts from, witch was great. I was looking for another EM project machine for my son and I to work on, but did not find any that fit our liking. Thanks again to the show's organizers and we will see you at the next one.

Ha, you should be thanking that TNA for tilting out for no reason and screwing me over.
Next time, all or nothing on Car Hop.
This is what pinball is all about, a great show, great people, folks having fun, fires, t-shirts that offend some but not all, and of course 'famous' people coming together and making it all happen for folks that are not so famous. Super nice to see it all come together, grow bigger, better, and all the while be affordable and family oriented without gouging folks out of the room upon entry. Thank you Rich and family, volunteers, vendors and public for coming.
Wish they would have had more of the original shirts. Spent so much time playing I forgot to get a shirt on Friday. By Saturday they were sold out of everything but tipple extra large. It's just a shame there weren't more.
@rmarket If you happen to find any XL shirts left over I'll still take one.

Scott, I bought two XL’s. Not worn yet. I can ship you one of them if you want.
I'm still in shock that my game won Best Pinball!
Dennis won People's Choice for the Silver Sails!
Two bingos in one year - I'm extremely humbled and excited.
As always, a giant thank you to Rich and the show staff, and all the players and collectors that bring their games to share and make the show such a great time every year.
I was able to play an Exhibit's New Contact with the spring pop bumpers, a beautifully restored Kewpie Doll and Hit 'N Run, Diamond Lil with the gorgeous playfield animation, and a great Guys Dolls. I feel like Guys Dolls gives bingo players a bit of an advantage.
The prewar games were another highlight (Merry-Go-Round, Jigsaw, Plaball, etc), and of course all of the other great games. Thank you to all who made the trip and hauled these heavy, fun games for all to play.
...and the folks in Bingo Row that helped teach people to play and brought games and answered player questions - my eternal gratitude!
United's Serenade (the only known example of that game known to exist) was at the show - so very cool.
The Silver Sails, another amazing highlight.
What a year!

Wow!! That was a rethemed Sega Twister wasn't it???? I kept looking at that Lost in Space (beautiful job!!!) and thinking it looked so familiar - wow. Great Job! Wish I could have played it, but it was very popular and always someone on it. BravO!!!!!! Loved that show growing up, Dr Smith was such a weenie, my bro and I STILL quote his insults and whines!!!

I think it's a Sega Lost In Space with the theme changed from the 90s movie to the 60s TV show.

This is correct. It was an original Sega Lost In Space, not a Twister.

You’re welcome, thank YOU and others who made a point to say thanks at the show. It’s hard work, games get beat up, and we usually lose money overall, but happy to support the show and provide new stuff for the attendees.

I appreciated being able to try Mafia, Lexy and TB. I enjoyed Mafia. Obviously the pricing isn't going to work for most people, but it was fun.

Mafia wasn't all that bad but price is going to be the killer on the game.
