    I'll be looking for a High Hand! I owned one in the past and sold it because of the drop targets not resetting. I love the artwork and would like to have a nice one back in the collection.

    Drop target still won't be resetting!

    Looking for an X-Files, WCS, or MSF. Nice, complete playfield is a must. Don’t care about cabinet condition or minor repair. PM me if you have one to bring to York or pickup nearby.

    #360 4 years ago

    I have a Monster Bash LE which I would sell or trade, and could bring to the show (or pickup close by in Lancaster). I am still enjoying the machine but if the right deal popped up I would be open to something.

    Thanks!

    I apologize for 2nd post but doing my best to try to make it to the show to bring some stuff for folks to play / buy and support the show... Right now we don't have any presales to help us justify the effort... so I'm making another little push...

    PinballSTAR is not sure yet of our ability to attend the show this year due to some other personal commitments we have. But we are going to try to have a presence and hire staff to cover the booth when we can't be there if we get some presold games to bring and have customers pick up. Most will be NIB opened at show. Games must remain til end of show Saturday. Show discounts too ! No shipping cost.

    These are the games available :
    * Wizard of Oz Yellow Brick Road : 11,500 - 500 = 11,000
    * Dialed In LE : 9,000 - 500 = 8,500
    * Willy Wonka LE : 9,500 - 500 = 9,000
    * Attack from Mars Remake : CE 6,000 - 300 = 5,700 / SE 7,300 - 400
    = 6,900
    * Monster Bash Remake : CE 6,000 - 300 = 5,700 / SE 7,300 - 400
    = 6,900 / LE 8,000 (won't open these up)
    * Houdini : 7,000 - 500 = 6,500
    * Oktoberfest: 7,400 - 500 = 6,900
    * Thunderbirds : 5,000 - 1,000 = 4,000 (Previously used at Allentown Pinfest in May then wrapped up)
    * Multimorphic P3 : Fred ROCS mini game with preorders - not for pickup at show.
    * VP Cabs Vertigo (60 video games, classic pinball tables, and Zen Studios FX3) with all upgrades - computer and LED buttons : 4,150 - 600 = 3,500 / Vortex (table top / wall mount version of Vertigo) $ 3,100 - $ 600 = $ 2,500

    If you can’t make the show and looking for something above let us know we’ll try to accommodate you, but show pricing is for pick up at show.

    Again, we will gauge our ability to attend and provide these deals based on what we pre-sell.

    Joe - PLEASE keep trying even if you post this a couple more times I think it just shows you are making every attempt possible to be at the show. I have never even walked over and played one of you machines at a show (typically I have too much going on at my booth) but I know a ton of people really appreciate you bringing machines to the shows. People that have never set up at a show don't realize the work & expenses involved. Thanks for supporting our local shows and you will be missed if you are not able to secure enough sales to justify the cost. But I know Rich understands and you also need to do what is best for you.

    The main thing is keep trying as long as you can - people visiting this site will not mind if you bump this a few times if that is what it takes to get your machines to the show!

    Thanks Again!

    Thanks Skip -

    I have a wedding on Saturday so I have to leave Friday - and that's not even a big deal as I did make the plans well in advance to hire my delivery guys back in August to be able to take over when I have to leave Friday - these guys changed their work schedules to be available, but of course that adds a cost - pay, hotel, gas, meals, etc... But that's done and totally fine. Cost of the show or doing it really isn't the issue here as even if I pre-sell some stuff I'm absolutely going to lose money but very willing to do that to support the community and show. It's really a bad timing situation for me and the schedule of game reveals from my companies.

    Most importantly the hurdle is right now the timing is such that unusually this year even with all the companies I represent we really don't have anything brand spanking new to bring to sell which causes several issues :

    I don't even have a lot of show games in stock right now of some of this older stuff most that has been out / for sale / revealed over a year ago - WOZ, AFMR, MBR, Houdini, Oktoberfest, Dialed In, ACNC, Thunderbirds, P3, and VP Cabs... Due to timing of the show and the current release schedule of all my companies only WW was revealed even in this current year and that was 6 months ago... The issue that creates is that most of the inventory I have has been sold and when something gets old I don't keep restocking in house as the sales slow down so I don't get stuck with things - I have to manage cash flow. Having $ 250,000 of stock that doesn't move isn't a good business decision. So, the problem with this is not only am I discounting show games around $ 500 or whatever I am allowed to do by the companies and losing that margin, I have to now SHIP everything in JUST for the show (at my cost I'm not passing on to customer) so add about another $ 300 per game or so. We don't have big margins on these things and in most cases that right there is a loss for me even if I sell it. Again, WILLING to do it to get them to the show if at least I don't have to drag them home and can replace most of my out of pocket cash flow I expended. BUT the math is at $ 8,000 plus a game - even if I just get one of each or about 7,8,9 of them that's like $ 60,000 - $ 70,000 or more I have to shell out of pocket right now and maybe be stuck with for months on end until they eventually sell. Older games are harder to sell as everyone wants the latest stuff, open box games are harder to sell after a show as people usually spending that much want NIB. It is really just bad timing. If some of this stuff was newer then I'd have stock like I always do, no shipping concerns, and I wouldn't worry one bit about then selling even later after the show, but right now it's a really situation where I can get hurt and affect my business well into next year if I blow my cash flow just trying to be a nice guy. So it's not a money thing strictly related the show where I expect / need to make money doing it - I won't and I know that - it's just an overall bad situation with timing and stock. When new stuff comes out which just about every single company I have will be doing toward end of year / early next year (JJP, CG, AP, Spooky) I need huge cash reserves to put deposits down with each one to run my business into next year. It's just a really shitty situation with the timing and my current stock / management of the business.

    York really isn't a big 'new in box' crowd and I know that and that has never deterred me from having a great lineup at the show. Frankly, I don't think I've made money there ever - many times at a lot of shows we don't - it's the nature of the beast. We always hope that we get a lot of residual stuff later during the months after and all good will of supporting the community / show so that's the justification in your mind to take the loss. This isn't a cost issue of the show itself - the show booth cost is reasonable and the York show is frankly as I've said, like a family get together and Rich and his family and SUPER supportive and wonderful people. So, yes, I'm kind of upset at this situation this year (which has never worked out so poorly timing wise of releases and I wouldn't expect it to be the case in a future year) and I am trying to make every effort. Hell if I even had just one new thing to show off and expect some activity off of it would be a no brainer for the most part. And yes, I'm trying, thanks for recognizing that... I've posted on our FB page and paid money to promote it, Rich shared it for me on the show FB page after I asked him to, and I've posted here on Pinside now twice, and as I've feared, there's not much interest is most of what I can attempt to get there. Unfortunately time is short as I have to ship and make arrangements for all this if it was to happen so I figured I'd make one last push - both here and I re-ran and paid for my FB page ad yesterday.

    Sorry for long post - I just really feel bad about it and wanted to explain - I know we have been a big supporter of the show and us wanting to do that hasn't changed.

    Joe,

    Sometimes something "just isn't in the cards". I have known Rich longer than he has been running the show and since he took the show over I have only made it to the show once. Every other year there has been something going on with family that kept me from attending (not little stuff but stuff like my mother-in-law and father-in law dying the week before the show or helping my son move the weekend of the show). It always really upset me not to make the show as a vendor but not only that I couldn't even make the show just to walk around.

    Last year was my first year at the show as a vendor and I did great so I couldn't wait to take a nice load of machines again this year. Now I am "major league" sick and am afraid to attempt that. I still plan on having a space or two but I need to bring smaller & lighter stuff since I'll be setting up by myself and have been sick for over 3 months. They ran more test Monday and I go back to the doctor tomorrow so I should know more by tomorrow night but at this point my plan is still two spaces.

    I don't know why but Fall is always a tough time of the year for me. Such is life!

    If you want me to see if my guys can help you move, unload, set up, tear down, bring stuff back home for you just ask if I don’t use them or even if I do maybe they would be able to help you. Just ask and I can put you in touch...

    Here is a short video of what is coming so far. There are other machines but not in my possession as of yet. Most of these are parts or project machines. I also have a nice USA GNR I could brng if a deposit is taken before the show. I took this to Allentown but never set it due to a switch matric issue. The problem is now fix and the machine plays great. Has a new PPB and MPU stalled in it. Complete tear down ,LED's in the GI. Just click the link for the video. Pete

    Added 8 days ago: The following machines are spoken for.
    Close Encounters
    Devils Dare
    Both Continental Cafe's
    Flip Flop
    Fire Cracker is on hold

    Data East Star Trek is spoken for.

    Looking for a IMDN Pro, under $5k

    I may bring my MMR LE to York. Looking to change up the lineup. Original owner HUO. Interested in an MBR SE/LE. PM if interested.

    Looking for your typical beater South Park. Working preferred but a non-working project is OK as long as it's complete.

    If I'm unable to find one, I need an empty modern DMD style cabinet (DE/Sega/Stern or WMS) that hasn't been stripped of all the important parts & trim. OK if it's missing the head.

    I have a HUO TNA for sale, just a few miles from the show. Check out my for sale ad if interested. Thanks

    Thanks!

    I could bring a semi working system 11 dislay out of a Williams Fire. Only two of the displays work. maybe one of you guys can fix it or want for parts.

    I have the guts of an Outrun 2 sit down arcade machine that did not work, guy told me the computer (not sure of technical name) was bad and it was not worth fixing thus he was ditching it . computers, CD, wire harness, transformer (that weighs a ton), the key that I think allows the game to run that it comes with, boards, etc.....

    Still not sure I am going to get there, but if you are interested or need above, just shoot me a note. I hate throwing stuff away (thus saved the Outrun stuff from the trash).

    Selling a Bally Strikes and Spares. Mint BG, with a NOS PF which will need minor touchups and cleared. Boards are being upgraded now and a solid cabinet with decent artwork. By the show I'll have the chime unit rebuilt, connectors repined and likely functional. New Weebly rectifier board installed. $1400 and trades considered for other Bally SS games or a Gottlieb High Hand or Centigrade 37. Friday only delivery. Message me for detailed pictures.

    I'm looking for a Bally Flash Gordon project game. Blown out PF preferred for hardtop install. Not working is fine, faded cabinet welcome. Looking for one for a full restore, can pick up Friday.

    Anybody bringing any Bally EM games from 1966-1973 for sale?

    #389 4 years ago

    Anyone bringing EM games in general???

    I've got a 1968 William's Pit Stop I'm shopping out to bring for free play and for sale. One of the few multiplayer games that saves players state between balls.

    #391 4 years ago

    For some reason I want an EM or SS pin to play again. Will trade my touchscreen gaming/jukebox kiosk for one. Pin needs to be fully working, clean and shopped, like I can just bring it in the gameroom and play it because I don't need any projects.

    Can swap at York, but prefer making the trade before hand so I have an empty truck in case I buy something.

    If you are bringing games for the free play area, please register them. I need to have my floor layout plans into the Fairgrounds this week. While the hall is big enough that space shouldn't be an issue, the layout includes where I will need power drops. You can register the games online at: http://www.theyorkshow.com/game-registration.html We are also having the cash drawing again this year for those that bring games and have registered.

    Is there anyone that lives in the Raleigh/Durham NC area this is going to York that would be willing to pick up a pin for me? PM me and I’m sure we can work out some sort of deal. Thanks

    I want to give a big shoutout to robotronjohn for helping me out in such a huge way. He went above and beyond and went and got a game for me that was out of his way and is now bringing it to York for me. Thanks again.
