    Quoted from too-many-pins:

For any of you (from parts of the country east of the show) that were looking to buy a "project machine" at the show (or maybe even a working machine) Pete "Ibuypinballs" (Post #167 above) is a great guy to deal with. Typically he saves up machines to bring them to shows to support those shows. Since the show is cancelled drop him a PM and I am sure he will be more than happy to get together with you if he has something you would like to own.
I have known Pete pretty much ever since I first started in the hobby and he is a great guy to deal with.

Well put Skip. I purchased a machine from Pete at the York show last year. Easy to deal with, good high resolutions pics were provided and machine was exactly as described.

You know Skip, you're a stand-up guy too. I have enjoy all my transactions with you and the conversations that went with them!

My kids were asking about the York show last night at dinner. I told them don't count on it. Now I can tell them it has been cancelled. Bummed me out. I will miss the games, the sounds, the smells etc. Here is to a better 2021 and hopefully a vaccine.

Last year on friday, it was partly sunny. However, it was windy and cold.

I'll take whatever weather we get as long as we have a show!

    Quoted from abjr:

If anyone is looking to purchase a playfield protector (or anything else from their site) from playfield-protectors, going to the show and wants to save on shipping let me know. I'm willing to coordinate and bring the items to the show for pickup if we can get a large enough order.
Would like to order soon to make sure items arrive before the show.

In may be interested. Send me a PM and we can discuss.

Anyone have a Bally coin reject button for the arcade coin doors? This one is from my Vector. I'd like to find a better one if possible.

    Quoted from Phillips88:

Is the beer/neon vendor there too? I forget his name but he’s there every year

This guy came to my yard sale many years ago and haggled over some crappy old pint glasses I was selling. A few months later, I saw him at the show. Lol

I had a good time. Machines priced high, to be expected. My wife fell in love with Joker Poker. Said let's buy this machine. I about fell over. There were 2 there, but neither were for sale. JT Amusements had one she was playing. Wonder how much...and he is local.

    #654 2 years ago
    Quoted from too-many-pins:

JT Amusements is "Jim" from Duncannon PA about a 40 minutes North of the show. He does fantastic work and is a good honest guy. He has been a long time friend and is one of the best service guys in PA as far as I am concerned. You can find his information by using Google.

HEY Skip! I have his number and I saw him at the show...before my wife said how much. Then I couldn't find him. I wasn't going to call and tire kick. I figured if I found him, I would ask.

    #657 2 years ago

Lol. Yes, all good. Hope you and your family are doing well. I'll get a price for my wife.

There was a great playing Rolling Stones at the show. A very nice Silverball Mania (sold). I got to play Fathom, Haunted House, a beat to piss Amigo, various Star Trek machines and I did play Godzilla.

The Playboy with the rusted ball, various mechanical issues and high price was a bit sad.

Curious about show attendance compared to previous years. Higher, lower, about equal.

I invited friends, co-workers and neighbors to attend the show. I know several went and enjoyed.
