Check out post #450 on page #9 > This is Mike Fresca's machine. He will be at the show the entire weekend as a vendor. Proceed w/ confidence!

Thanks for the kind words, Shawn! Unfortunately I sold the machine prior to the show.

I have beautiful, “ bare” /empty, clear coated Gottlieb Mars God of War playfield that would be great for wall art or playfield swap.

I also have a brand new, sealed playfield protector for a Gottlieb Black Hole for sale as well. I will be at the show on Saturday. If interested, send me a message.

For those at the show today, a few pictures of the lineup and/or a game count would be greatly appreciated in this thread. Will be there tomorrow with the Kiddo and Torpedo Alley for Freeplay!

    #613 10 months ago

How late is the show open tonight?

I left after half an hour. Free play is a shell of what it used to be and like always, lots of bingo/woodrails. No pinball Star and CT has only 4 games setup. I had high hopes for this show and was really disappointed. Thank God it was right down the road from me so I didn't have to travel far and my kids didn't tag along so I didn't waste money on them getting in.

That’s every game in free play.

    #636 10 months ago

Looks like there is quite a bit there to me!! I’ll be there tomorrow with bells on.

I can bring a minty Space Invaders if anybody’s looking to buy one.

    #637 10 months ago

Is Pinnovators there as a vendor?

    #638 10 months ago

Just got back from the show with some voodoo glass from Coin Taker !.. Overall nice show !
However, not many folks selling on the flea market side. I asked where the out door venders were? The lady said they had one guy who came indoors since he was the only one and they had room for him inside. ( Not like past shows )

And of course there is always one guy playing a pin with all four players activated playing all four. No courteous to others whatsoever.

I did notice more security this year with the York Fair City Police which is always good to see!

    #639 10 months ago

Looks awesome! Thank you everyone who is bringing games! There will be at least 1 more tomorrow (Torpedo Alley) and since there is space I will see if I can fit in another arcade 1up or two for the kiddos.

That’s 57 new (to me) pins in one show. Get to take my son to play too. If you don’t feel like your game is worth taking to a show… you’re wrong! Take them next year!

New to me games shown in pictures that I get to play for the first time tomorrow (and with my kiddo!) include:

    Haunted House
    World Cup
    Big Hurt
    Doctor Who
    Loop The Loop
    Fathom
    Sure Shot

Just got back from the show, a bit of a roundtrip drive today from Northern VA. Hadn't been there in a number of years so nice to get back. Enjoyed seeing a few people I know and playing a number of games I hadn't seen/played in a while. The EM games, as always, were fun. They were almost all in VERY nice shape and playing well. Was tempted to buy a few things, but with space being limited just didn't pull the trigger.

The most interesting thing to me at the show was the P3 MultiMorphic games. I had seen that term a number of times recently but never took any time to see what people were discussing. I didn't even know what I was playing when I stepped up to one of the 2 there. Looking at them from a distance, my thoughts were, is it a virtual pinball machine? Is this thing a homebrew? Expectations were low honestly, but the gameplay for enjoyable and interesting. Used to have the Pinball 2000 setup with both playfields and 2 computers, so started to think about them in those terms, but they seemed so much more. The vendor who was selling the system, Bill from Pinball Gallery, spent a bit of time explaining the games, options and pricing, very nice guy. Going to do more research to see if that could be the next thing in our gameroom.

    Enjoy the show!

Is there anyone at the show that is from the northeast an willing to pickup a playfield for me. I will be happy to compensate I’m in Albany NY but willing to dive to pickup within a 100mile radius….

I left after 3 hours. I would guess games in free play were down 30-40% from 2019. Very little in used parts except for the same stuff Jeff hauls to every show.

1st 3 games I tried to play didn't work however they were fixed and playable later. As a early SS guy, I really liked the Bally Rolling Stones. Looked like a new CPR PF in it. Played really nice, perfectly leveled with great pitch. 3rd time I played it I had a monster 1st ball and ended up turning it over twice in one game. Helped that it was set to retain bonus and 5 balls.

The Stern Quicksilver was really dialed in well too. Got the high score to date on that game. Sweeping all 4 drops on the lower bank from the right flipper was awesome. Really nice Joker Poker SS next to the Fathom that played well except it had a slight pull to the left. The Williams Highway EM is a game I've never seen before, someone spent a lot of time restoring that.

Sad games- There are 2 Bally Playboys. One had a badly installed overlay and a rusty pinball. Gottlieb Flying Carpet I though was in the wrong cabinet till I realized it was a repaint with totally different colors.

Just got back. Went with no agenda. Had a lot of fun and some great conversations. You aren't going to find a better selection of woodrails for play than here. The vendors are courteous, knowledgeable and very anxious to please.

Where else can you have this much fun for $15?

Three or Four things to "remember" or "consider" about shows this year. First off there are still a good many people - like me - that just are not interested in being around a lot of people because of this whole Covid 19 mess. (I am not "scared" of it I just feel as though I don't be someone else adding to the problem if I were to get sick enough to end up in the hospital).

Second - typically there is around 6 months between Allentown & York which gives people plenty of time to "restock" and get stuff ready to sell. This year it was about 1/2 that because Allentown was delayed because of this Covid mess.

Third - every year there are less & less parts & project machines to be found and prices on everything pinball is through the roof so it is hard to find "flea market vendors" when those guys have little to nothing to sell.

And lastly the cost of motels, fuel and everything else is extremely high right now so that likely reduced the crowd bring stuff for freeplay & for sale.

People need to remember "nothing is back to normal yet". Be thankful Ivan & Rich both had shows this year and hope they made enough to have a show again next year instead of complaining about lack of machines and other stuff at the show. And lastly if you don't think there is enough in freeplay maybe it is time to "step up" and bring a machine or two to the freeplay area for next year!

I feel really bad not making it this year but I just can't do it. Knowing several people in the medical field and talking to them I know they are already stressed enough just trying to keep up. I don't want to be someone adding to that so I have decided to "lay low" for a while longer.
