I have a whirlwind that I’m working on. One of the speaker inserts seems to be upside down. I’ve looked at pics of other machines and they are not like this. Did some come this way?

Ya, that right speaker is upside down.
There not hard to fix. There usually stapled to wood. Sometimes they get glued to wood panel.
In this case looks like they glued it to plastic.

If it came that way from the factory I would leave it. Gives it some character/uniqueness.
