The music should be looped continuously throughout the game. On really rare occasions I've actually had my WW stop playing the main tune and still have all voice call outs working. Once the ball drained the main tune kicked back on. I'm thinking maybe it was something buggy with the sound ROM or CPU getting confused as to which main tune should be playing. I've never been able to duplicate the problem.. out of maybe 8000 games on my WW it's done it two or three times. If you actually find the root cause or what to look for I would be interested to know what the issue might be. Best of luck... hopefully someone with some insight can chime in here.
