This winter I have been going through my Whirlwind and there is the only issue left. These two wires are just hanging under the playfield right by the flippers and would like to confirm it is nothing to worry about. According to the switch matrix the white/brown and green/red wires have no switch assigned which would explain why they are there but not hooked up. Is this normal for Whirlwind, especially on a relatively early unit (1007)?

In service mode I have gone through and tested all switches, all passed. Originally both sets of wires were tucked around the other harness wires in the same area. After tracing and all the white/brown and green/red wires I could not find any missing contacts or switches, everything matches the chart. It seems that they are in fact just extra wires that have no effect on the game.
