My Whirlwind keeps racking up Skyway tolls. It's pretty constant but variable between 5 and 60 Skyway tolls a minute. making the game go berserk. I did some basic continuity checks on the Skyway toll switches and everything seems normal. Thought I would ask for ideas before I dug into this one. I never have luck with intermittent issues like this. Hoping one of you experts has a great idea. Error report showed these switches as a problem [34 and 35]. Whirlwind

Seems that the Tolls are racking up with flipper button push(left and right). Some of the playfield flashers also fire at the same time when I hit the flippers.

Time for me to start looking at schematics...

Resolved. Doing the LED upgrade I must have bent the diode on switch 35 Lower Left Ramp and had an intermittent short to the ramp cage. It seemed to short when hitting the right flippers from the vibration.
