Quoted from not4tilts:Congratulations! - looks to be in really nice shape. I have had mine for around four months now and it is more addictive than any of my other games ever were. Even my 12 y.o. daughter is playing it every day. Whirlwind blows!!
Thanks! I just went through it and installed GameBlades- they really make the game pop!
Hi there- anyone have the instructions to the rockcustompinball light mod that they could take a picture and send to me? Noticed the instructions aren't on rockcustompinball's website and I'm struggling to see where to connect the connectors to. Thank you in advance!
Quoted from Jimmyhonda:Which lighting mod? He offers a few different ones.
Good point. The lighted topped mod.

All set guys- thank you!
Quoted from Blackbeard:Can’t you just turn it off in settings? Why cut wire??
I believe there's a molex connector for the knocker (at least mine has one)
Quoted from scampcamp:I agree..... can you please mention where the new translate is sold at? Thanks
If you or anyone else for that matter needs a new (used) translite I have one with a very slight mark on the side that I would sell someone for cheap.
Quoted from PinballZZZ:Hi, since 2 weeks a Whirlwind owner . My first pin, so lots to learn...
I'm gonna replace the topper for a new one and looking for some lights (leds) underneath. I've seen some mods, but I'm curious how to connect those lights?
I want to use the light setup of the lightning at the back of the playfield. When the flashers are on, the Topper also flashes, etc... Just connect the wires to the lamp/light socket of that specific flasher? Or...?
I think I know the mod that you're referring to. If it's the one here on pinside it's plug and play- it's a double sided connector. I installed it on mine, really nothing to it. It's been 100% reliable too.
Anyone have a used FUBAR wallhanger playfield that they'd be willing to donate/sell for cheap for a homebrew concept? My wife and I have been using the dimensions of my Whirlwind to sketch out some ideas but we really need a dead playfield to draw on and start building ramps/mechs off of.
Quoted from pencilneck:Hopefully this fixed the stupid left lane ballhop... original playfield did, CRP playfield does it as well... so I've come up with this dohicky to fix the issue.

It seems to work pretty good:

This is a first draft as it were, I'll most likely go back and make another one out of black plastic. During game play you can't see it and as it is, it doesn't really stand out as you walk up to the game.
I've had the same issue here- and even with a Cliffy set it's still hoppin'. I'd definitely be interested in one if you want to make some extras.
Quoted from DK:If anyone is going to upgrade their WW and they have a mirrored BG they will no longer be using shoot me a PM
Hahaha there's seizing opportunity. Likewise, after someone sells DK theirs I'll take the next mirrored CPR one from a 2.0 owner.
