Hey all

Couple quick questions ... anyone find a close match for Whirlwind Blue in a rattle can? I have some cab touch ups to do.

Also, a part was scavenged from my PS, and I have no idea what I should be replacing it with. Have a look at the pic.

Thanks in advance!

Quoted from toyotaboy:

Even if there was, I'd imagine every cabinet has different fade.

I'm actually just doing the play field back board, and possibly the inside of the cab. Not touching the outside at all.

Anyone? I don't think it is a specific item to WW.

AC line filter varistor

I think that's the ticket! Now, to figure out a part #. We have a pretty good local store that should carry what I need.

Hi all

Apparently in my haste of ripping apart my WW, I failed to take any back box pics of where all the connectors go.

Can someone post (or PM me) a nice pic of the back box inside? If it's high enough quality, I can just zoom in and figure out where the connectors go.

Thanks in advance!

Quoted from MMP:

Are the metal posts at the top of the slings supposed to be taller than the star posts at the bottom? If so, why?

That threw me off as well when doing my restore. But yes, that is the way they are. And no idea why it is like that.

Hey all. Thinking of leaving the club . I'll miss it , but someone else will enjoy it for sure.

Wondering what pricing is like these days for WW ?

Some specifics:
New CPR play field swap done.
New ramps
New plastic set and protectors.
New lift ramp
CPR mirrored BG
New topper
New shooter rod and housing
Everything cleaned and rebuilt underneath.
Playing 100%. Flips great!

Cab is rough. Could use decals to make it a show piece.

Thanks in advance!

Quoted from Puffdanny:

I would guess $3500-4000

Anyone else with some estimates?

Quoted from TheOnlyest:

My suggestion would be to fix the cabinet before trying to sell it, that's going to be your deal-breaker or what will cause you to lose your ass on it. Most people will not spend top-end money for a game when they have a ton of work to do and more money to spend to finish your project. As is, maybe $3K.

Good advice, though I won't have time to take that on. The 3K you advise is pretty spot on to what I was thinking (that's 4K CAD).

The donor machine was cheap, so at that price point I'm breaking even (not counting labour ... I never do).
