I had great luck with Goo Gone and flour on my WW. Your fingers will definitely be raw.

Quoted from TheOnlyest:"Didn't really notice it until you pointed it out."
Because they have no real quality control.
"Not a flaw, just the way the dither printed. Exactly what is on the film(s)."
Yes, it is a flaw. So obviously the films are flawed.
"They end and start ever so slightly different"
True, but not at that point they don't!
"Yes, every single playfield is the same."
Great, an entire production run of "blem's"!
Kaneda?
My last CPR playfield had those blemishes in the clear due to shipping as well. They lessened as the clear cured further. I'm gonna let my Whirlwind sit for a bit to harden and then assess what needs to be done to correct it in a couple months. It's kinda neat how the state of the clear changes as it hardens.
Of all the CPR playfields I've gotten over the years, this is the best clear job they've done. If it weren't for those slight blemishes, it's nearly the quality you get from a high-end clear person.
They did. My Whirlwind looks the same right now. I planned on letting it sit for a few months so the clear can cure, anyhow. Gonna re-evaluate then.
My game is in really bad shape so it desperately needs this. If I have to send it off, it won't put me overboard value-wise. I picked it up for $900 with every insert raised under Mylar.
Quoted from WeirPinball:Those are the same on mine as well - first time I've seen that from a CPR field
I've had plenty of the their playfields and didn't experience it until the last two.
Quoted from Coyote:Which one is correct?
For the record, I'd like to say that yeah, from seeing ya'll post comparison pics, the PFs aren't error-free. However, I'll add in that I'm not sorry I got it, as most of the Whirlwinds I've seen for sale have had completely trashed playfields. Especially around the spinners. So, IMHO, I'd rather pick up a project game with a trashed PF for under a grand and drop this baby into it.
This is me & I'm absolutely delighted to have gotten one. Best I could find one for from the first run was 1.5x what I paid for the game.
