I have a set of LEDs for a whirlwind in the market place: https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/38555
Quoted from mbaumle:You wouldn't happen to have a photo of the LEDs lit up in the game by chance, would you?
Of course I don't. That would have been the intelligent thing to do!
Quoted from mbaumle:You wouldn't happen to have a photo of the LEDs lit up in the game by chance, would you?
I did some digging through PMs and found a video of the LEDs installed from the previous owner. Video towards the bottom: https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=AD407D8DF823B2B7&id=ad407d8df823b2b7%21212442&authkey=%21AIYAH73RZG-huDg
Quoted from Pmaino:Ok it looks like the wrong coil is in there.
Currently there is AE 26-1500 when there should be an AE-23-800.
I'll order one and see if that fixes the issue.
Quoted from TheOnlyest:YUP! lol, that'll fix the issue alright! And also prevent your mechanism from eventually exploding!
The correct coil is stronger than the currently installed coil.
Quoted from TheOnlyest:Sorry, but that is incorrect. A 23-800 would be stronger than 23-1500 (no such coil), but not stronger than a 26-1500. The 26-1500 has a much higher resistance and is really only used in EM machines.
Best of luck with that logic...
Quoted from pencilneck:... wonder what a painted power supply would look like?
Nope, but I know what a transformer painted blue looks like...
Quoted from orangegsx:Keep trying! The sound is neat. But not as cool as the three way combo..
I did the same thing on my buddies earth shaker 98 miles and a ball 3 drain
I've been to the end of the road on ES several times, but never even close on WW (besides this time). Not sure why, the main ramp shot is almost identical!
Quoted from GRUMPY:Adjust Failure = Dead batteries.
Or a bad battery holder, make sure the battery voltage is reaching the board.

Probably? Thats my guess...
Quoted from yaksplat:If so, that should be 8A, not 4A. That could be the whole reason it's blowing.
8a for 120v, 4a for our higher voltage friends
Quoted from truemagoo102:Trying to replace the right ramp. Is this the right diverter? The ramp isn't functioning properly, either this is wrong or I need a new ramp. (the metal tab isn't tall enough)

No
Quoted from AssaultSuit:I'm in the middle of my first flipper rebuild and I have a question that I haven't been able to find a related answer to. The included EOS leaf switch from the Marco kit has a very long arm that makes contact withe the back end of the tighten-down bolt instead of the insulated L arm. If I cut it shorter, I'll need to bend both arms toward the coil in order for the L arm to push the contacts far enough apart.
Is leaving it like it is a bad idea? Or do I just have the wrong leaf switches?
[quoted image]
When tightening the eos screws, the switch stack can rotate - is it parallel to the flipper plate?
Quoted from AssaultSuit:I noticed that, and yes it is.
I'd snip the long blade of the new one so its hit by the L arm. You can look at the old eos to get the required length. Bending the blades closer won't be an issue.
Quoted from fossmin:I bought a set of new ramps from Starship Fantasies. Where does this sticker go? Neither of my old ramps has this sticker on it.
Thanks
[quoted image]
Its on the ball guard/deflector next to the wire form exit from the side ramp.
Quoted from fossmin:Thanks. Have a pic?
Far right of the photo
Quoted from DBLM:Here is what I started with.

I'm jelly, but helluva score. What kind of shape were the original mpu and display in? You could sell them and get your initial investment back
