Finally joined the club!!! Picked up a well worn players pin that will be a rehab project for me. Of course I have to play it while ordering parts... one part needed is a battery holder so I can't save my scores or settings so it's all factory. Tough to hit the left ramp until the cliffy comes it's badly broken and good shots get killed by the lack of plastic. That being said I put up a 15 million with 2 balls locked and forgot that plunging after locks doesn't act like the initial one when starting a new ball I let it drain because of no switch contacts and ended the game thinking I would get a re-plunge

Someone here might be able to help out on a topic I just started:

EDIT: problem resolved

put up a 16 million and knew I had to put one more game on the machine this ended up happening even with gimpy flippers and a blown out left ramp waiting on a cliffy. looking forward to rebuilding the machine and putting some major scores on this JOY of a game!

edit: oh yeah and I have no camera rig as well... sorry

Locking 2 balls + lighting million shot + lighting quick multiball THEN starting multiball makes your first 2 left ramp shots worth 4 million each then it adds another million each time until a max of 10 (if I read the rules right and heard Bowen correctly on his tutorial and your settings are factory I believe). Now it's just a matter of making it happen

Such a satisfying shot to hit and a great light show when the jackpot is lit... then add the replay show and knock. Only makes is that much more disappointing when a game doesn't go well

Most might already know this but for those who don't... the kick out from under the right ramp was giving me trouble basically bouncing off the wall 100% of the time (never hugging the side rail on the way down) and I could only ever hit the left ramp after looping through the yellow pop bumpers. So in the mechanism under the playfield there's a little spring that dampens the movement between the actual kicker and the piece that moves with the coil plunger. If you loosen that spring tension a little bit it can produce a much more reliable kick that hugs the wall and makes the left ramp a more makable shot from the kick out. Enjoy!

That's funny I got on here to ask about other machines feeding around the loop into the left bumpers or not. Mine used to feed the bumpers - the metal rail is aimed to feed the ball into the pops. Now, after shopping mine out I noticed the the white lower rubber on that side post sticks out past the rail - it's showing some dirt where the ball hits it and that little bit sticking out sends the ball regularly straight down the middle. It's super frustrating because it makes me want to avoid the spinner shot, and I don't think the game is designed to bring that shot back down without getting some pop action. I think I'm going to take a razor blade and shave that rubber down unless the post has enough play to slide over enough after loosening it. Anyone else deal with this - I noticed the only one I've ever played on location had been recently shopped out and was doing the same thing - I just assumed the left yellow pop bumper wasn't working at the time.

Squishing the star post over in addition to razoring off a little rubber now it feeds the pops I am pretty sure that's how the orbit is supposed to return the ball.

BTW my shooter lane release gate also flips up with the upper right flipper.

Anyone have an extra fan blade laying around? It doesn't have to be pretty - mine is somehow warped enough to not push the wind towards the player - I've tried messing with it to get it right but no luck. My motor works great it spins super fast and makes the sound of wind but the blades just don't get the air moving in the right direction. I've fiddled with it long enough (and yes I'm aware Marco has them for $13 I'm just in a cheapo mode right now for this players ww I have).

Quoted from swenny:

Quick Q for other WW owners. Does the ball come out of the cellar on your game at a consistent speed?

Mine is consistent with very little variety. Sounds like your plunger could be binding in your coil sleeve.

EDIT: oops saw was on page 4 of 5 didn't realize there had already been so many answers
