All right, so I've owned WW for about a week. And I think I've finally got everything dialed in how I want. I've got the slope at about 6.8 - 7.0, and it feels about right. When I bought it, the outlanes were at their most-closed position, which again feels about right. Game times can still be quite short, and I still get the occasional outlane drane so that seems fine.
So for my plunge, I could NOT get it to launch around the upper orbit no matter how far I pushed up the guide. In the end, I had to just remove the post completely, which allowed me to get the correct bend and not have the ball deflect off the post. Normally I wouldn't remove a post like that, but in this case, I think that the edge where the two guides meet is protected enough that I can't really see a ball striking that exact spot easily, and certainly not straight from a flipper. And the nice thing is, that the post can easily be re-installed and the changes reversed.
