Dude, you are on a nearly impossible mission here... I put an ad in the parts wanted section with a huge bribe for a full set and got a bite the same day. My ad sat there ignored for 2 weeks before I "showed em the money"!

I know where a full set is for $200+ shipping lol

Im in need of the same one. Everything else that was broken I found

Then you should buy it, or tell someone in need, where it is! Holding out is the total opposite of what this forum community is all about... And even more so, this specific club thread!

I thought everyone knew about that set by now. It's been relisted on Ebay at least 4 times. That's why I didn't mention where it was for sale. I would never hold out because having the entire set wouldn't benefit me at all.
Quoted from bballfan:Surely CPR sees the demand for this set.
Hopefully they will be available with the playfield rerun.
Oh they see it, they just have no intention on including them with the playfields. It's already been asked of them twice since the playfield run was announced for pre order. It would obviously be common sense to release plastics with a playfield because there is always a demand. I just don't get their way of thinking.

Post a link to that please, because I dont see it on ebay and I have been following a "Whirlwind" search for months and nothing has popped up there either!

If anyone is in need of this plastic or any others Pm me. I replaced every plastic on my WW and kept all the old ones. Most are not in the best shape but if anyone is completely missing some they are a good option.
Finally got my whirlwind back together.
Quick question if you do a full plunge does the ball go up the ramp? Mine just hits the post to the right of the ramp.

On a full plunge the ball should loop around to the upper right flipper.

Look what arrived in the mail today from "Ministry of Pinball" it took nearly 4 weeks to be delivered but surprisingly affordable $110.37 shipped = NOS Topper + Decals! I now have everything to finally get the fan up and running with all new parts!

Quoted from Jesterfunhouse:Hello Everyone-I am trying to recreate the entire Fan assembly from Scratch (mine has nothing).
So I tracked down all of the parts and I NOW HAVE A WORKING WHIRLWIND FAN I thought I would document it here for anyone else who runs into the same headache or needs to replace their parts. I also found it hard to find pictures of how everything goes together without the topper. Thanks to another Pinsider who fabricated several when he couldn't find one; I have a very strong motor bracket (This was the hardest part to find). I will not post his name in case he wants to remain anonymous (He also sent me assembly pictures which helped a TON). The motor itself, the Triac circuit board, and the fan blade all came from Marco. FYI the Triac board is NOT listed under Whirlwind when you search game specific. You have to search for Triac board on the main page. It looks like it is fabricated by Great Plains Electronincs. Finally the White Topper came from Ministry of Pinball. Sounds like they are now out of stock there but a LOT cheaper than the blue one I see listed for $250. Anyway on with the pictures!

Anyone else get air balls off the right ramp? Half the time I cant lock a ball as it flys off coming around the top right up the ramp

There should be a clear plastic there, like this:
(Sorry, don't have the right ramp out of the game at the moment, but it should have a similar part. If it doesnt, I can send you my old one. It's used dirty, yellow, etc...but would be free)

Ahhhh that makes sense! Just checked my before shop pics and looks like mine was missing to begin with. I will take you up on that piece if you dont mind. Pm incoming... thank you.
hi there,
i'm planing to own this one soon but i just would like to know if there is a wizard mode on this one? is it enough challenging? what about flow?
thanks

I was told that MOP's topper is a reproduction and not NOS. I don't care I just need one lol

There is a Mega Cellar Door bonus that basically activates all the modes once you have started all seven cellar door modes.
I definitely consider this game challenging and the difficulty doesn't feel unfair. Yes, you can get a lot of extra balls, which can extend some games, but that doesn't make the shots easier to hit. I think the shots are really satisfying and I love nailing the super cellar door. Hitting a 3-way combo is a great feeling too, along with the nice siren sound effect.
Great flow, great shots, great theme, great game. I have a pretty beat up one and I don't mind, I love her just the same. It's just a blast to play. Plus, my other games are DMD, so the older school flair on this one spices things up a bit.
Of course, that's just my opinion
Quoted from sohchx:I was told that MOP's topper is a reproduction and not NOS. I don't care I just need one lol
How about it is a NOS reproduction...
Now that it is fully functional and shopped I just posted mine for sale in the marketplace (I don't hold onto them for long...LOL)

I really like the Titans, some cool color choices.

Thanks for the compliment I love the Titans and I started buying their bulk packs in multiple colors so I can color match all of the machines I shop out.

To be honest with all I have spent on parts/fixes/upgrades already I could probably spend just as much doing all of the upgrades or mods. At some point since I am looking to sell and not keep this one I had to decide within my budget what I could do and what I needed to hold off on.

Easy enough for the next guy to do it. Game looks good and I think your price is pretty fair. Glws!
BTW Not sure if anyone else has tried this. I was messing around with different colors behind the translite glass and found that pink frosted bulbs right behind the cloud face and hand give it that "Dusk" color seems to look like more of a bad storm coming as it is not bright pink. What do you think?

My thoughts as well. Thanks for the compliment!
Has anyone trid to install mirror blades on the game? I have a set made for b/w games, but they dont fit because the bolt that the playfield pivots on gets in the way. They fit funhouse, but not ww. Are there any side decals made for the game?
Quoted from Lermods:Are there any side decals made for the game?
There was but looks like they don't offer them now:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/whirlwind-pinblades-pinball-inner-cabinet-decals
getting ready for playfield swap to a diamond plate. I need to place my order for rebuild parts. I understand the parts needed for flipper rebuilds and pop rebuilds, but what should be replaced for the other assemblies? (target, kickers, out hole kicker, eject hole, etc.)
Quoted from zerbam:anybody................bump
Coil sleeves, plungers as needed, etc...chck the manual, it will give you a good idea

that's bizarre, why wouldn't it be on the site? MInistry has them in stock:

I also made a set of non-licensed decals:

It is a nice set just put one on my game last week, only major difference is the blues are alot darker but if you change every plastic you will never notice.

Yeah, I mean at that price I'd definitely use every single piece lol
I bet CPR will release the plastics again with their next run of the playfield. I'll just wait and do both at the same time whenever that happens.
Quoted from shicketmaster:I bet CPR will release the plastics again with their next run of the playfield. I'll just wait and do both at the same time whenever that happens.
It would make perfect sense for them to do so, but I keep reading and being told that they don't plan to. I really wish that someone would tell me otherwise

It just nonsense to rerun a PF without thinking that people could change the plastics by the same occasion
