need help deciding my next pin purchase... here are my choices:

Twilight Zone

Judge Dredd

Attack from Mars

Road Show

#2 12 years ago

For me it would go like this: TZ, AFM, JD, RS.

Also depending on if you have specific leads on these four games, condition would play a role too. ie; if JD was in mint condition and going for a good price, I may take it over a trashed TZ, because there are alot of TZ's out there, and eventually a nice one will come up.

If all games in the same condition and money no factor its a very easy AFM! followed by Twilight Zone,Roadshow, Judge

#4 12 years ago

Even though I am not a huge fan of AFM, I agree completely with Ace Frehley. (that's shock_me if you're too young to know what I am talking about!!)

I also agree with d'mouse, money and condition are also factors to consider.

I would pick AFM.TZ,JG,RS But all are good.

#6 12 years ago

AFM
TZ
RS
JD

But I think you should buy them all and find out for yourself. Good luck finding a AFM.

You can have the illegitimate ten-fourteen year old...

If you don't like that pairing shock_me...
There is always the Weasley twins! (For J! )

Just don't go dying on me- O.K..!

TZ or AFM either one would be a good choice depending on condition and price (Bang for your Buck)

#10 12 years ago

AFM would be the best choice here.. It's only going up in value.
It would be tough to find one for a good price, though.

#11 12 years ago

I concur with others, I would pick AFM.TZ,JG,RS

#12 12 years ago

TZ only

#13 12 years ago

AFM easy number 1 choice out of those options in my opinion. Love the humor, flow, and speed of the game. Such a sweet pin.

#14 12 years ago

Why only one I would buy TZ,JD, and RS for the price you would pay for an AFM you could buy the others and have three pins instead of one. More pins the better i say

Can't argue with this logic!

I gotta say. This group is extremely active these days on pinball acquisitions. I love it! And not small titles either. Great choices have been made recently.

Rock on people!

TZ, AFM, JD, RS. Bang for Buck wise I would take JD.

#17 12 years ago

I would pick TZ over AFM because I have two fast pins already. I also like RS more than JD.

#18 12 years ago

If condition on the pins are equal, I would go for the AFM, seems to garner the most attention in the community and has the best resale value. But TZ would be a close second.

i'd get attack from mars. a classic, with all the great shots. road show? no way, that wide body game is garbage (personally i think). then twilight (if you can a good deal), or judge. stay away from road show.

#20 12 years ago

I'd get all of them, that eliminates having to choose.

AFM

I've yet to play Road Show, but I can't imagine it's that bad being a Pat Lawlor design. I can't recall playing a game of his that I absolutely hated. Even games that aren't close to being in the top 100 like CSI, Monopoly or even Rollercoaster Tycoon are still sort of fun. Is RS worse than these?

#22 12 years ago

RS is a great game IMO.

AFM
TZ
RS
JD

Not by a long shot gweempose!
RS trumps those by a "country mile" it is a fun pin to play. The theme for some reason just polarizes alot of people into a love/hate kind of thing...
Try one for yourself at the next convention you visit!

TZ would be my choice condition is a factor if money is. love the powerball man!

#25 12 years ago

I had to make a choice between a TZ and AFM. Both were available to me at the same time, both in excellent condition. After much deliberation, I went with the AFM. Even though it was quite a bit more money than the TZ, I have not regretted the decision for one second.

#26 12 years ago

AFM would be my choice and I think it might be a low maintenance machine too. Easy to clean playfield compared to some of the others. I played this game at Shorty's in Seattle I was hooked. The lady the alien is holding on the backglass was an employee that worked for Williams/Bally.
"Return to battle soldier" -AFM

#27 12 years ago

AFM, if you can find and afford it. TZ if you are only going to have one for awhile.

#28 12 years ago

TZ ,, Killer Pin .. Every PinHead should Own 1... Status

AFM ,, Not Alot of Shot's ,, but it's a Action Pin... Easy to flip when you Tire of it..
