Quoted from TrevixClemson:I'm gonna go out on a limb and say neither. I think everyone is being Jedi mind-f*cked and the next Stern will be a random game out of left field.
WCW?

I'm actually excited to see what GoT would look like. A few of my friends keep telling me that I must watch the series (I haven't seen an episode yet). They way they describe the series, is the way I describe the new Star Trek movies…So for their sake, I hope this is the game that gets them into pinball.
Going out on a limb here. Since it is common knowledge that spider-man or games of throne is the next release, I say Mission Impossible is the next release.
I'm probably wrong, but just about everyone had no clue wrestlemania would be made.
Quoted from Concretehardt:I think Jack is raising the price on the Hobbit to keep pre orders from jumping ship. It creates a perceived value to pre owners.... My $7500 machine is now worth $9000 so I better stay in.
What about for the people who haven't purchased a Hobbit yet?
Jack is really pushing these prices up there. If he is selling a ton of games at those prices, then more power to him.
Quoted from iceman44:Got my hopes up with Star Trek and an LCD so I pre ordered one. Then backed out after the "disappointment" for me
The reason I think GOT will have the LCD is because of the super long development time, it's Ritchie AND most importantly, Stern will use the opportunity to raise the LE price to 9k
If that 9k price tag becomes the "new normal" for NIB, I'm out, I don't care how much $$ you have, and I'm not a fan of stripped down pros.
A major problem for Stern, JJP and othe US exporters is the rest of the world's currency being devalued or falling against the dollar.
Andrew and the Heighway guys have a great opportunity to fill the gap imo
Star Wars is the only game I could justify for myself at a $9k price level.
Quoted from beelzeboob:Dwight Sullivan, supposedly.
I remember seeing Steve Ritchie give a speech (on youtube) and he said that Lyman Sheets was coding his next game.
Could something have changed with the timing of the releases?
7:25 "For this game (KISS), we are still using the DMD display."
I wouldn't be shocked if GOT does come with an LCD.
Quoted from Rarehero:If done well, it could look nice...but they can't just do the usual "plop a character here an put a colored outline on it" job. Hopefully they'll do something like Star Trek or TWD - make the playfield "actor free" (maybe have it look like the artwork from the opening title sequence) and put the characters on the backglass and/or cabinet.
I like the fact that the my Star Trek LE, for the most part is actor free. Something like Indiana Jones, IMO, wouldn't work without the actors. A Star Wars pin just featuring the ships would work too. Who wouldn't want a Star Wars Millennium Falcon LE pin?
