I would go for VE sandwiched in between the main new releases, too. With Kiss hurried up a little that would make sense to fill the gap and take the pressure off GoT. VE is definite this year.

Quoted from stainedundies:Explain how these are "poorly kept secrets" all you guys do is jerk off over Jarred's cryptic Facebook posts, take them as fact, and walk around like Gary stern himself showed you his business plan. This is all pinside is recently, a Buncha know nothing's talking out their ass about shit they made up. And the worst part is, you jagweeds actually believe that the more you clamor for something, the higher up it moves on sterns priority list. Every week for the last two years there's been some new "proof" that GoT, smve, or jaws is already on the loading dock, and yet, no concrete anything from the people who actually make the games. Just be patient, and be excited for whatever comes next.
Actually, all my information comes from distributors. There are conduits of information for people in the world that are not Facebook you know.
Quoted from kaneda:Nobody knows. Not one person called WWE correctly.
They do know. Talk to your distributor. Do you have a distributor? Have you bought enough games off your distributor to have a good relationship with them?
Quoted from kaneda:Isn't it more fun being surprised?
Still surprised. Just earlier.
Quoted from iceman44:Unless there are infinite dollars out there.
Quoted from TigerLaw:I want an Alien, Hobbit, and GoT (if GoT has an LCD display); but can't afford all three.
Man, I am running out of these mythical "dollars" you speak of. TH and Alien on order, Kiss prem coming, plus a TSPP and LOTRLE picked up in the last month. Can I afford GoT? No. Maybe it will be blow-you-away amazing, but I'm thinking it will HAVE to be to get my money at the moment. It probably will be, , and so will SMVE...
Quoted from ahdelarge:With so many great new games coming out, what is everyone doing? Selling off parts of the "old" collection or keep accumulating?
As I've said before, asking my "keepers" some pretty hard questions. And I'm finding that a lot of them don't have the right answers. Selling the old. Probably turning over 60-70% of the collection in the next year. But then, I'm a turner overer.
Quoted from TOK:Can someone identify the playfield? I don't think its a Ripleys, but could just be an old pic?
Kiss
Quoted from TigerLaw:I think GoT will beat the Hobbit out by a few months. This is a big problem for JJP. GoT may even have an interactive dragon...might cause a lot of people to switch, we will see. I'm interested in both.
Totally agree. I am part paid on TH, but have recently got back LOTR so have my JRRT fix. If GoT is really a big leap from Stern I could easily see the switcheroo happening for me.
3 weeks?! This could be a record. I order one Stern machine the very day it is announced, then the next one is announced before I take delivery of the first. You gotta give it to them, they're keeping that engine crankin'.
Quoted from ahdelarge:Maybe the spiderman VE rumour WAS Game of Thrones....same layout, different artwork, dots and sounds?
I absolutely know for sure it's going to be the best pin since AC/DC. It's going to be a whole new level of machine for Stern and anyone who is into pinball at any level will buy one. I know this for sure because I have no money left for new pins and definitely no room, and I'm really hoping I can pass on it.
