My shooter coil just stopped working on my BSD, so I was hoping some kind soul out there might know which transistor fires it??? A full list of trannies vs coils would be excellent! They don't list this stuff in the manual, do they??

Thanks a lot for any help!!!

Thanks LTG, UR da man!!

Just to be sure, the way I seem to remember is good to see if it's the tranny is to earth the lug of the appropriate tranny... If the coil fires, that rules out anything on the playfield, right..?

Englishism, or just bad spelling...?

Just earthed the lug on Q82... No reaction on the coil... So time to trace wires... Probably change the coil first!

thanks all... What I did is the dumb-ass test method of putting a voltmeter across the lugs of the coil and putting it in test mode so that when it tried to fire every few seconds... I saw the voltage jumping, so I knew the wiring to the coil was OK... While re-soldering the lugs it became clear that one if the coil wires from the lug was broken!! Problem found... LTG nailed it in his first guess!!
