If you like the challenge of hard to reach wizard modes, RBION is the game for you. Atlantis and Frog Frenzy are both hard to reach, and especially FF is worth to reach to see its hilarious starting sequence. But unfortunately the actual wizard modes aren't that innovative multistaged ones what you are referring to.
Nascar gives quite a good challenge too to get to the wizard mode, but I would say it's more doable than either of the ones in Ripley's.
