Well I just picked up a GOT Pro and have to say that it has exceeded all of my expectations. Super fast, great flow and amazing rules already! Honeymoon phase still but it really is a lot of fun to play. You don't need to be a fan to enjoy this one.

You also can't go wrong with an IM. IM is absolutely brutal.....but I (and many others) love fast brutal games.....it really does "fight back". But that's what makes it such a great "just one more game" pin. It's also probably the best multiplayer pin Stern has ever produced. No one has to wait and even poor players have a shot at winning.

Other candidates - MET Pro, ST Pro and TWD Pro......all great titles.

If this thread keeps going we should be able to name every Stern ever made.

Yep...you should either play before you buy....or if you've been around long enough in this hobby you find people who have very similar tastes as you and can often "roll the dice" based upon their input. Just did that with GOT and it totally paid off.

I've done it both ways and so far so good; my only "misses" where AC/DC pro & Stargate....played them both, loved them, bought them, and then sold both in under three months, they just didn't hold for me. I have not had a miss yet on the five recommended games by people I tend to agree with but had never played.

I like Metallica.....in very small doses, I wouldn't buy one for myself. I really like SM, but the longer game times have made me hold off so far. Haven't played TWD since it got the big code update....would love to try it again though.
