    Quoted from ltd73:

Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws.
Has to have every Robert Shaw quote in the movie.

We've already got Robert Shaw in Battle of the Bulge so maybe we should go for the trifecta-

    Jason and the Argonauts!

That would be cool. Actually, I think I've mentioned on here somewhere before that it would be great to have a Ray Harryhausen pin covering a few of his movies like Clash of the Titans, Jason, and and the various Sinbads.

    #55 8 years ago

Always thought the Great Escape had potential for a great game. Tunnels, motorcycle jumping over barbed wire and Steve McQueen. I'd buy one.

Blues Brothers would be my pick.

There is a Jaws PInball game already....

Pulp Fiction - 20+ years counts as retro

    #59 8 years ago

Guys just a heads up, "the 80s" are from The beginning of 1980 till the end of 1989...seems to be some confusion.

    That is all

90s were better than the 80s anyway. Keep em comin!

    #64 8 years ago

Blues Brothers. Music is timeless and plenty of material for fun modes and great callouts.

very pissed the whole HBO Westworld series is in limbo...or nightmare; was looking forward to it.

How about " Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb " ?

Would love to listen Vera Lynn's "We'll Meet Again" when the game is over.

I watched the original about a month ago. They don't make them like that anymore.

See, this is why pinball needs to break out of the 80s.

And how is it they haven't done Rollerball?

    rollerball3_(resized).jpgrollerball3_(resized).jpg

I suppose they could retheme LOTR.

Cannonball run. 1st official race was early 70s. Could incorporate the movie too even though it's early 80s

I think it would be better to go with the original- The Gumball Rally. Then we could move on to Death Race 2000.

    Gremlins

    Back to the Future

Married With Children (as if, but would be funny to play)

    Nice call there

Progressive modes going across the country building to the wizard mode at the finish line. Even have the option of picking your car and route before you plunge the 1st ball. That could make multiple game options with a different progression each time. I'm in!!

    #87 8 years ago

A lot of good options here, would love

    Ghostbusters oh wait nevermind....

Scooby doo could be awesome lots of possibilities there

Army of darkness with a little evil dead sprinkled in would be wicked and its even relevant today with the show probably could get Bruce for some callouts.

Beetle-juice, not my favorite movie but a good one with tons of a potential for a great pin and strong rumors of a new one coming out.

Can't argue with that, will watch Omega Man & Westworld over and over.

Grew up on METV shows, so it ain't all bad.

Forgot to include token Wonder Woman pic.

(lower half of pic edited as maximum file size was exceeded - twice !).

Saturday night on METV is hard to beat.

    Superman
    Batman
    Wonder Woman
    Star Trek
    Svengoolie
    Lost in Space
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

    Why go out?

    #92 8 years ago

Scooby Doo. I would have beat the Wizard mode if it weren't for those meddling kids!

You watch that lineup on Sat. nites too, eh?
Yeah, pretty fun stuff & the Sven schtick is good for a laugh or two - I like the historical background on the old horror movies.

We don't watch it all, but it's nice to have on when we are playing and decide to take a break.

We had a ritual on Sunday night as we would get some games in but call it quits in time for Man From UNCLE at 10:00. I didn't see much of that when I was a kid but now I see it is one of the most well done shows ever. Then they moved it to 2 AM. Sometimes I still catch a little of it.

Maybe you should spend some real time in the 80s...around the era of Reading is Fundamental

That MFU time change pissed off my wife as it was one of her faves, now on too late to watch.
Guess I'll need to get a digital recorder.

Nimblepin says he gets it on both the east coast and west coast feeds with his U-verse so he can watch it early. Doesn't do me much good with my DirecTV though. But yeah it was a pisser when we sat down to watch it and The Odd Couple came on. Not that I don't like The Odd Couple, but it's no Man From UNCLE.

    #98 8 years ago

I'm watching "The Eighties" on CNN tonight......good show.
