This is the golden age of pinball. From dead rock stars to movies some of you probably still have on Beta and VHS anything seems possible.

As the aging modern pinball collector watches his hairline recede and his waistline grow large he can fill his house with these memorials to a simpler time before marriage, kids, never ending work weeks, and the high stress of internet forums for the meager price of six to eight thousand dollars a pop.

Yes, this is truly the golden age of pinball. I think we've pretty much covered the 80s lately so I'd like to see more suggestions from some of the other great decades.

    Citizen Kane?

    #3 8 years ago

When I say "Lost in Space" it is not my fault they remade that crap! Original could be done really well.

    #4 8 years ago

    The 80s always rule.

Plenty still from the 80's to go:

    Goonies
    Gremlins
    Top Gun
    Rambo
    Friday the 13th
    Last Starfighter
    E.T.

    Poison
    Motley Crue
    Van Halen
    Bon Jovi
    Milli Vanilli

    #8 8 years ago

As long as it isn't the damn directors cut which was lame city.

    #9 8 years ago

I'd love to see a Scooby Doo or Schoolhouse Rock pinball.

Why don't you go start an 80s only thread. I'm sure you will get a lot of participation.

+1 for apocalypse now....would consider a re-theme of a Raven but the game play is a dog.

A WWII themed game. Bombers, tanks, P-51 Mustangs.

As soon as it's announced I can see the marketplace flooded with used Ghostbusters pins.

I agree that's a good one. When I think of the 70s it seems most have already been done. Star Wars, Rocky, Dirty Harry.

But another good one might be

    ANIMAL HOUSE

    #17 8 years ago

    Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

Or, for a slightly more realistic (and probably better) option:

    images_(resized).jpgimages_(resized).jpg

    #18 8 years ago

Always good and already has a basis idea for the cartoon art

Oh man with all the battle sounds!!!! Could imagine a full salvo of 9-16 inch Battle Ship guns going off for a Super Jackpot. And put a 300 watt powered sub on it...you'd shake the house down. It might not sell to well in Germany though.

They haven't even scratched the surface of the 70s yet! One of the most iconic decades as far as music, TV, and motion picture ever! Not to mention the culture.

WWII First Person Shooters were king a few years ago. And I still wish they'd go back to them. Never really put too much thought into those types of video games in where they were sold at. Were they never sold in Germany? Maybe they don't mind shooting Nazi's?

A WWII theme'd pin is something I've been fantasizing about for a while. The artwork can look fantastic. So many different directions it can go. Pin-up themed, battleworn themed, textured based.

    apes_(resized).jpgapes_(resized).jpg

    #39 8 years ago

As long as we are talking about WWII themes I'll take the Dirty Dozen. So many great actors.

    #40 8 years ago

Planet of the Apes fo sho...classic Rod Serling.

    #41 8 years ago

2001, the ultimate stop and go pin. "OPEN THE POD BAY DOORS HAL!" "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that." *machine goes dead, kicks all balls to the drain, and....

No, that actually ends your ball.

    #42 8 years ago

Planet of the apes would make me go ape shit....in a good way of course.
Scooby doo would probably sell well and connect with non pinheads
Grateful dead still has a huge following, and some actually earn money these days.game would need to be set to 5 ball with extra long ball times. Could you imagine the artwork...
But yea of those mentioned planet of the apes for the win so far.

That game would have to be....
    The good
    The bad
    The ugly.
Each with their own multiball of course

    #44 8 years ago

    Jason and the Argonauts!

    image_(resized).jpegimage_(resized).jpeg

    #45 8 years ago

So far every suggestion here is better than most of the ones they have already done recently. To me. Except for the 80s ones.

    Keep em coming!

    #46 8 years ago

    image_(resized).jpegimage_(resized).jpeg

    #47 8 years ago

    What's Happening!!!

    #48 8 years ago

Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws. Jaws.

Has to have every Robert Shaw quote in the movie.

And there has to be a "Show me the way to go home" being sung somewhere in the game.

If they don't do the voices right it will be garbage, I was playing WD today and my friend and I were commenting how the fake redneck voice is no gouda..

    #49 8 years ago

An A Team game would be pretty cool too.

    #50 8 years ago

    James Bond

    Beverly Hillbilies

    Munsters

    Hogans Heroes

    Animal House
