Quoted from burningman:

yes...the 5 games that were at the DPO were built by the contract manufacturer. (the same guys that will be building our personal games)

I find that reassuring. It's great to at least know that the factory is capable of assembling this pinball machine, since they have not done that before.

I actually believe that we could see these machine being built faster than what Jersey Jack is capable of, at this time.

Since I am waiting for both of them, I hope it will be a close race between the two and that we will see some action during the first quarter this year. (hopefully already in February)

Quoted from iceman44:

I'd like to see them both arriving very soon too but I don't know how the heck you arrive at that conclusion.
You don't think that JJP might have the production and quality control process down a bit better since they have actually produced several thousands of pins, making plenty of mistakes along the way? Versus contract manufacturers that "have not done that before"?
Like Dave said, I wouldn't want to be in the first batch of either of these, especially TBL.

I was only talking about production speed, not quality.

I believe that nobody knows for sure how fast production of TBL will be. I just meant that there is a possibility that the first 200 TBL games will be produced pretty quick,(If they have acquired all the parts needed) since they have outside help.

Wishful thinking, perhaps.
