Comparisons are across pins are inevitable. We see some innovation in recent pins, but also some similarities to pins of yesteryear. With limited budgets and space, it's worth weighing the 'fun' a potential pin on the shopping list will bring compared with other pins out there. The opportunity cost of spending ~$12K on a Collectors Edition Pirates is NOT spending money on an Attack from Mars Remake & Walking Dead Pro.
So I thought of a fun little game...
-Post two pins with some sort of interesting common link (whether that be rules, toy, multiplier, artwork, layout etc). It could be something as obvious as the layout of Seawitch vs Beatles, or less obvious like the gun in T2 vs ACDC. There might even be more than one linkage; try to be creative, but don't say what the link is.
-The next poster:
1. Tries to find the commonality.
2. Says which pin did it better.
3. Posts two more pins with a different link for the next poster.
This isn't to say that one pin is better, worth more, or more enjoyable; but simply which pin implemented the similarity better.
