Sometimes you want a pin that allows you to bat the balls around while intuitively knowing what to do. These games have simple rules that could be explained to an eight year old in 2 min. Most often these are two flipper-fan layout designs. Those matching the description and which are available new include:

MMr
AFMr
Beatles
MBr
DP
TNA
Munsters
EHOH
Zeppelin (rumor)

Which one would YOU buy in 2019?

Leave your reasons. ie if you are worried about clearcoat issues from company A, or have a vendetta against manufacturer B or already own machine 2-7, or are in witness protection and are willing to take whatever we give you, etc.

#3 4 years ago

none of those lol

#4 4 years ago

Already own DP and AFM (so ruled out MMr and MBr as being too similar). Zeppelin won’t be here. This left Beatles, TNA, Munsters and EHoH. Of those I voted for EHoH because it is the most fun to play. I could see myself buying a premium EHoH next year, as the game settles out.

#5 4 years ago

Realized there are plenty of other new and used games available but was caught by surprise with requests for none. Added as a choice now, you can change your votes.

#6 4 years ago

I have an EHOH LE and love it. Out of those choices, I would pick MBr. I wouldn't be mad at TNA, either.

Technically, isn't EHOH TNA?

Don’t you mean 2020????? There is only 1 month left in 2019?

Especially since Zeppelin is looking like a 2020 game, if then.

Played Beatles at the Pinball Lounge in Oviedo, Fl and really enjoyed it.

#11 4 years ago

Zeppelin is the only one that interest me Beatles is fun but too expensive for what it is.

#12 4 years ago

Elvira & TNA are the only ones on that list. But whom knows.

Quoted from Electrocute:

Fun game for sure, but everything aboot it keeps me from buying it; I didn't know pinnball music could be worse than Metallica & IMDN

So maybe a LZ if it';s actually a Seawitch clone? Although if it's the same price as Beatles; no chance.

#13 4 years ago

None is leading in the poll.

For once I'm with the pinside majority.

#14 4 years ago

where is SW in the poll?

My guess is it doens;t meet the strange manifesto, er, parameters he set up in the beginning paragraph?

#16 4 years ago

None for me (im looking only for KP)

But an unreleased Zeppelin game does? I'm with you on that

Release it or not, I'm not going decorate my house like my Jr. High bedroom back in 1975.

No way, no how, no where.

What’s wrong with 1975. It was the peak of pinball! At least it was for me.

Nothing was wrong with 1975. I'm just not going decorate my house now with the same shit I had on my walls back then.

That would be like a woman our age with Bobby Sherman, Donny Osmond, or even Peter Frampton posters on her wall. You would know something is seriously wrong inside her head.

JP3 then Deadpool. From ur selection? None. Change Zeppelin to Sabbath in 2020 and maybe we have something.

#22 4 years ago

Consider placing TRON VE on the list.

#23 4 years ago

those options are horrible. no thanks

My thoughts as well

#25 4 years ago

None

#26 4 years ago

Noone

Well, I already have MunstersLE and AFMrLE....MMrRE is ordered, so I guess I vote that. Always wanted an original..too pricey...then sort of drifted into a few others when MMr came out....this version looks outstanding, and look forward to owning it.

Zero interest in other titles on your list

Remakes suck and so does the rest of the list. None of the above.

#29 4 years ago

I buy TNA last year and SW premium this week.

My collection is all modern pins which look similar, TNA was a nice change of pace plus great co-op mode.

I just bought SW premium but that’s very complex. I think AFM remake is the best pin on your list.

#30 4 years ago

I hopefully plan on getting a AFMr CE before the end of the year. Best NIB buy right now IMO.

#31 4 years ago

I just finished a complete ground up restoration of a Doctor Who.

It's an amazing game and is going nowhere! I'm very pleased with it.

There are so many great titles that, once modernised, clearcoated and made new, a lot of the new games dont compare.

It may cost a bit to do a complete over the top restoration, but it's on par with any new game.

Bring as with all new parts, its essentially brand new.

Most of the time it's a little less.

#32 4 years ago

If I could afford a MMr I would get that. But as that sum of money is a bit too much in the near future I vote none.

Doesn't that apply regardless?

I like the Johnny Cab pic Odin.

Sonic boom all day. Not that hard, and completely outweighs the points off anything else in the game.

Old or new, doesn't make a game great because you make all the pieces shiny.

#35 4 years ago

Still waiting on a machine exciting enough to consider my first NIB, I thought it would be Lebowski
but we know that probably won't happen. Stern is out for me, I question the long-term durability.
Houdini is intriguing but haven't played one yet. Octoberfest was pretty far but no cigar.

I love th he sonic boom lol.

I have 800 games on it and its hard for me to repeat.

I think for me its challenging and tons of fun each time I play it.

It got non-stop action over Thanksgiving!

People love it.

#37 4 years ago

Why is the Beatles off the charts crazy $$$ money is there real gold and diamonds on the playfield?

Just curious why did or would you buy a Beatles pin?

#38 4 years ago

I'm curious if the prices dropped a grand or two, would a lot of those "none" answers change?

#39 4 years ago

For what you want, Beatles fits the bill perfectly. Awesome layout and great rule set that is easy to understand. Thank me later

#40 4 years ago

Over the last two weeks, I've played alot of mmr and afmr. Surprisingly i found afmr alot more fun then mmr, which i honestly found boring and repetetive.

#41 4 years ago

I prefer AFM also over MM. I was considering to add MM tho because lots of people love it, but I can’t get over the price difference I call it a MM tax. So a classic AFM or MB is $6300 and MM is $8000 and the top trim MM Royal is $2000 more than a comparable AFM or MB (large screen, armor and topper). I would have bought MM Royal at $8000 to go with my AFM LE. CGC probably lost a bunch of sales but made up for that in extra margins on what they are selling.

I voted wrong. Bought tna and munsters. Great games. JPLE was my favorite 2019 game though.
