None of them. You forgot Dukes of Hazzard and A-Team. Both better than choices above Odin. On a side note thought someone was making a Dukes pin and started a thread awhile back.
I'll throw in A-Team and Knight Rider, but Dukes was more 70s to me. I'll add all three to the poll.
The Dukes started in 1979. But ran til 1985. Only 1 year in the 70s. 6 in the 80s. I'd say it was an 80s show

Ok thanks, Married With Children too but it was late 80’s.

Knight Rider and A-Team were internationally successfull.
Many of the rest not so much (or decades later) or I never even heard about them.
I’ll vote MacGuyver, but I write in American Gladiators (though like dukes issue above, it may have more in the next decade)
My actual votes go to Dukes of Hazzard and the A-Team. I thought Quantum Leap could have potential with those that like futuristic time travel stuff. . . then I looked/learned the show did not start until 1989! I must be getting old as I sure thought it was totally 80s.
Dukes would be good, but the the debbie downer pc police would cry due to the Confederate flag on the car.....
I cannot upvote Robotech/Macross enough. Huge fan and have a sizable collection of valkyries. So many good choices from the 80's. Magnum PI no doubt, Night Rider, Dukes of Hazzard, Miami Vice, Air Wolf, and Sledge Hammer all solid. My vote from that list would have to be A-Team. Great characters, cool vehicles, humor, guns, and over the top action.

Never thought about it at the time, but it was amazing with all the shooting that happened in that show that no one was ever hit/killed. I think I remember reading that someone did die in one episode, but it was not from the good guys shooting.
Oh, the shit I come up with when I've been drinking.
I was sure I had Hill Street Blues in there somewhere.
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:The 60's has the best TV themes.
Even the 70s was way better.
I got a feeling this is as close as we're gonna get to any of these. Although I think somebody might have done an Airwolf already.

Sorry, Brewsters Millions is a movie and doesn't count.
I agree. If it was born in the 70s it is from the 70s, which is probably what this thread should have been about in the first place.
It was just one of those middle of the night brainstorms I did to see if I was up to the challenge of even typing it all out. Which if I remember correctly, I could barely do.
And I'm surprised nobody mentioned Family Ties or Full House yet.

Quoted from o-din:Ding ding, we have a winner!
Another reason why Magnum, P.I. is the genuine choice.

Noe you're picking shows I could barely make it through once or twice. I probably saw more episodes of Doogie Howser and Punky Brewster.
Malibu!
Anyway I'm right in line wiht the voting...Dukes or A-Team would be the easiest. Of course I'd take a Sledghammer for sure but that wouldnt go over too well.

Yeah the PC crowd that grew up watching it would be up in arms now.
Quoted from ShinyBall:add (none of the above) probably will win.
I just tried and it won't let me now. Must be some kind of a time limit or something on doing so, but I agree.
If we could get in a time machine and go back 30 years, I'd fully be in on Sledge Hammer though. Most entertaining show to me at that time. It was darn funny and right up my alley.

You beat me to this.

The most hilarious scene I remember was a helicopter crashing into a cliff, exploding into a fireball, and crashed down to Earth. Two guys stumble out and act like they just got a little dizzy. Too funny.
Quoted from TractorDoc:Never thought about it at the time...
Oh of course....it was the live action GI JOE

B.A. got shot in one episode by another team member (Murdock) if I recall correctly.

Not quite, you can get alot closer.

Anyway, what about He-man, Transformers, Gobots, GI Joe etc etc?
