King Kong also chewed on people, but his trademark hasn't expired yet. Mickey Mouse's has though.

    Shark's name is Bruce.

    Sharks exist. Godzillas don't.

Godzilla by far. He has also adapted to the sea and has the ability to grab and jump and tail whip. Don't forget the heat ray! He could probably just grab Bruce out of the ocean and chew him in half. However, he doesn't eat balls either.

    Shark Sushi. I like it!

Bruce was almost as real as Godzilla.

    T-Rex is the best

Godzilla and it isn’t even close.

Jaws has killed like, a dozen people over 4 movies?

Godzilla levels a suburb of Tokyo for breakfast.

    #9 6 months ago

    Godzilla. Runner up, Bigfoot.

It seams like a pole should be added

Godzilla, heat rays, large, protects from other MUTO's, is the king

    #12 6 months ago

Gotta go with Godzilla on this one

No need for a poll - they don't call him King of Monsters for nothing. Godzilla is in another league.

How many people avoid Tokyo because of Godzilla?

How many people avoid swimming in the ocean because of Jaws?

    #15 6 months ago

As a kid after seeing Jaws I was seeing shapes of sharks everywhere even in the back yard swimming pool. Scared the crap out of me. As for going to the beach here in Australia we get enough shark attacks as it is. I didn’t swim in the ocean for a few years after that movie.

One is an actual monster and one is a fish.

    I'd rather go swimming myself.

I'd love to site back and have a cold drink and watch a guy in a rubber Godzilla suit stomping buildings into the ground.

I have to admit Godzilla is great.

Ok this seems like as good a thread as any to make an embarrassing confession.

I've never seen Jaws. (At least not the whole thing).

So here's my question: isn't Jaws just a shark gone mad? I mean, not really a monster. How many people can he really kill in comparison to Godzilla? Also, I mean, simply avoid the water and Jaws won't get you. Godzilla destroys whole cities.

Ok a side note, have you guys seen Godzilla Minus One? Best movie (and really the only good movie) that I've seen in years.

    #22 6 months ago

Godzilla takes out cities, the shark couldn't even finish off a boat of three.

    #23 6 months ago

    King kong.
There is just something about the beauty and the beast aspect.

Quoted from LTG:Sharks exist. Godzillas don't.

You only think that thanks to North Korean Missile Launches.
Kim Jong Un has been keeping the world safe from Godzilla for over a decade.

We all owe him a debt of gratitude.

And if you're talking the pinball machine, a boat of two.

No, it was a mechanical shark they could barely get to work.

But, in the movie a monster size shark just feeding itself.

No, but I heard it's great. Rubber suit and all.

I guess there's another contender now.

Saw the new Godzilla movie last night, was excellent! Really enjoyed it and I have a hard time sitting through movies these days, no patience, I've got shit to do, but this one was fun, and I like subtitles.
Godzilla is greater than Jaws. I have no rubber sharks in my game room but 2 Godzillas, that way I can make them fight, and kiss!

There were several instances in the Jaws movies that it almost looked like they were trying to setup Jaws getting out of the water, sneaking into someone's house, and chomping on them. Or at least the shark was trying to work it out in his mind. A better film maker would have figured it out and made that sh*t happen.

    #33 6 months ago

Godzilla can swim in the ocean AND walk on land. Jaws is limited to the ocean. Godzilla for the win.

    uh oh...I just remembered Sharknado.

Godzilla has a heart, kicking other monsters ass to protect civilians.
Great Whites have no heart. sociopath of the aquatic kingdom

    #42 6 months ago

Can't they just cross breed and make a super monster?

    Jawzilla.

Attach a laserbeam to it's frickin' head for good measure.

Not the OG (Original Godzilla), he's softened with age. I'm sure many can relate....

Godzilla for the win, soft or not.

No votes for Bruce the shark. So sad.
