    My Baywatch has a red dot, it's the positive. It's on the right side.

    It may also have small '+' or '-' symbols pressed into the piece where the lugs are.

    When not labeled, the + is usually on the right and the - to the left.

    Also if the spades are different sizes, the bigger one is usually +.

    You can also just use a 9v battery w 2 leads and " pop" it.....correct polarity will make the cone move forward, inverted, cone moves back....quick, easy, and you know for sure....
