    I know this is silly, but which pin is pin 1 on this IC?
    On all the other chips on the MPU board, that semi circle is to the left. But most also have a dot bottom left to show which is pin one. This has a dot on the middle right?
    So which is indicating the side where pin 1 is...the semi circle, or the circle? You would think they would bother to label it a bit better. No markings anywhere else on the chip..not on the sides and not underneath, and no diagram.
    Appreciate any help.

    Thanks wayout. I should have gone looking for a datasheet.
    You'd think it wouldn't be too much hassle for them to just add a white dot.
