Both are great. The family likes both.
I feel mm is more instant appeal and the castle is a great toy.
Jp is harder to feel rewarded on.
My view is that mm is great for parties and for people trying the first time,
But....
Jp has a great ruleset and will stay challenging a much longer time, so for a home setting with enthusiasts jp would be my choice.
