I've had both for a number of years now. I thinking about selling TZ soon, but LOTR isn't going anywhere.
To be honest, I don't have very many good games on TZ, yes I'm a lousy player, but I just don't find myself wanting to press the start button on it like I used to. At one time it was the game I was least likely to sell, now I just don't find the joy anymore and LOTR and my other games stand strong over it. Having said that, TZ is loaded with features and has a really cool theme. I think you'll be happy with either one.
