Dear EM Friends,

I noticed that the flippers on my surf champ are actually Bally flippers. I went to Pinball Resource to buy the flipper (C13150) and I noticed there are two variations of the shoe and shaft for this part.

Thin Shoe and Shaft, A13154

Thick Shoe and Shaft, A15531

I can find no reference to it in the user manual or schematics. Does anyone know which one is correct?

Thanks in advance.

look at the underside of your pf/flippers, you can easily see the end of the flipper shaft sticking thru. Normally you dont have to replace the shaft/shoe just the mounted plastic. give us a pic or two and we can advise further

Surf champ was the first game to use their newer style flipper assembly. With its double bushings, I don't think it's possible for it to use the thin shafts. Most likely you just need new bats and rubbers.

This is the right-hand flipper, which is a correct GTB part. I want to buy its counterpart for the left side. All help appreciated.

That's the thick shaft. Thin is a smaller uniform diameter
