I've seen different people use different fingers. How about you?

    #2 8 years ago

I use my index fingers but, i think a middle finger might slip every once in awhile

    #3 8 years ago

I had to go play a game to figure it out. I have never really been aware of what I do till now.

I think I mainly use a combination of both my index and middle on my right and mainly my index on my left.

    I answered a combination.

Index and middle to lessen to the load. I find that if I use 2 fingers they will get less tired than if I were to use only one..

    Index and middle

You can fit both on one button. ; )

    I use my palms.... YAY!!!

    #8 8 years ago

Index normally.... Middle if I'm having a really bad game

    #9 8 years ago

Great question. I noticed recently that a few of the better players seem to use middle finger. I use index but started to try middle. Oddly might have better accuracy.

I use my middle finger for a couple of things....mainly communicating while driving and pinball

    #11 8 years ago

    naughty finger til i die.

    #12 8 years ago

index, but i did voted for thumbs... sometimes i feel like i'm all thumbs

    #13 8 years ago

I tend to use both index and middle. Sometimes my palm when I feel the machine needs a slap. Also if people are watching I like to add a backhand for style points.

Hmmm, I call it the stinky finger.....

People that watch me play pinball say I use my thumbs.

Nimble do you play that way on two button games?

    Or just BK, shadow etc..

    #20 8 years ago

I use middle finger, and that leaves my index finger available for the magna save buttons.

    #21 8 years ago

    Index/middle combo

This is actually how I play as well. Index and middle fingers pressed together.

    #23 8 years ago

I'm mostly middle finger but at times middle/index combo.

    #24 8 years ago

I am honestly surprised people use their middle fingers or index+middle. Anything but my index fingers just feels strange to me. Also, that's what she said.

You dont find that your fingers hurt after a while???? Thats what she said *2

    Sometimes...
Having the "Magna Save" or some other feature takes me a bit of time to remember that it is even there in the first place! Unless I am playing D&D... (Definitely a must to make any progress. )
Generally I will just separate the middle and index to single use on those rare occasions and cup my palm around the corner of the lockbar.

This is actually how I play as well.

    Snowdale,
    Liked your post.
Did you use to like watching Special Ed on Crank Yankers yrs ago?
Also, do you wear a helmet when you play pinball? ...when working on your machine?

    #29 8 years ago

I said I use my index fingers and have always believed this to be the case but I just played a game, looked down and I’ll be dammed if I wasn’t tapping with my middle fingers and I guess always do. LOL

    #30 8 years ago

I'm surprised on the rather high % of people that picked middle fingers.
I picked index fingers, but sometimes I probably do a combo of index + middle fingers, so I can see combo fingers choice having a fairly high % picked.

Yes and yes. First I'll caution tape the entire work area. Then I'll stab my tiny little straw into my Capre Sun juicebag, take a sip and im ready to go.

    #32 8 years ago

I'm pretty sure I use my middle fingers.

    #33 8 years ago

middle and index together for most of the time. palms for a slap save.

    #34 8 years ago
