Want to ask if zaccaria produced their own drop target mechanisms and targets in their machines or did they use them from other manufacturers? Can I use drop targets from other manufacturer for zaccaria devil riders for example from bally?
Unless Devil Riders has a different size target than the Farfalla I own, I'm not sure they really are the same as Bally targets.
Here is a photo of an orange one from my Farfalla on the right, the middle one is one from my early 80's Bally Spectrum in the hooded style, and the left white one is a Bally in the tombstone style that I bought hoping to find a potential replacement for the Zaccaria ones.
The Zaccaria is about 3/16" taller from the lip it rests on to the top, and the mechanism under the playfield seems to sit about that much farther down from the bottom of the playfield than the Bally ones to make up the difference. If you use the Bally ones, the target will not sit up enough above the playfield without some kind of shim and adjustments to make it sit higher.
I'm not sure where you could get the correct size targets, I hope mine never break...

. Ive ordered bally ones yesterday and will test how they fit. I will do a small modification for them. I will post here what ive done to get them at the right height
Have tried to change the zaccaria targets. Be carefull with ordering this yellow bally droptargets. Algum is right! They are not exactly the same and has to be modified to have the correct length on top of the playfield........Will post this modifications soon
