All comments welcomed on art sound gameplay etc....

Hmm Ramen noodles or filet mignon.............Monster Bash!

SS is a cool game and looks good but just has no lastibility for me.

#3 11 years ago

You need to add a 'tie' to your poll... for me its too close to call. TIE!

#4 11 years ago

I cannot see how to edit poll??? Tie would of been good to add.

Monster Bash lasted a little over two years. I sold it once I realized I could have a Scared Stiff AND a LOTR for the same money. LOTR is here now, and SS will be soon.

I've owned them both. I've owned MB longer than any other pin that I've had. I really like SS a lot too, but I'd definitely have to give the nod to MB.

#8 11 years ago

Both are fun games I enjoy playing but if I could choose which one I would rather own in my collection it would be Monster Bash.

#9 11 years ago

Both are a snooze fest. But if i wanted to be happier while being bored i would play SS

#10 11 years ago

SS. MB blows. Don't know what people see in that game.

SS + BSD, call it good.

I really like the horror themes. I also like the attainable mini wizard mode, for guest. i have to give the nod to mb for, toys, and better code post mini wizard mode. Both make me laugh and keep me coming back. I wish I could cross breed them and get a monster bash with a back glass like ss, then I would keep elvira in the game as the vanna white of the backglass game. haha

Since there isn't a tie option I'll get off the fence and say Monster Bash. I think they're both fun but I've had some really good games on MB so that makes me like it better. Both are legitimately funny though.

Exactly the opposite of what I think...

#14 11 years ago

Ignoring price: MB
But if you can get SS+LOTR for the cost of MB... opposite answer.

Both are fun. The spider is really cool.

"Welcome to the monster bash"

Definitely a hard choice. I have to go with SS for the above reasons concerning two pins for the price of one. If either could be had for under 5k, I might go with MB. Still would be close for me.

I have both and really like both. I would choose MB over SS though.

#18 11 years ago

I enjoy both, but my wallet opened for Scared Stiff. (being a fan of EATPM's probably helped a bit too...)

#19 11 years ago

Have both also and it's actually a tough choice. As much as I would miss the mummy call outs, if push came to shove I'd have to keep the Scared Stiff. Both is always the best option however if you love your horror with humour.

#20 11 years ago

Both are awesome, slight edge to SS
I would love to have a MB

#21 11 years ago

i think SS is an excellent game and would love to own one one day but to me MB is probably the best game ever made.

#22 11 years ago

MB no question.

#23 11 years ago

SS...yes, there is a question....

#24 11 years ago

yes there is a question but the answer is clearly Monster Bash

#25 11 years ago

...oh, come on...not so clear....

Doesnt do it for me....MB every day.

#29 11 years ago

MB is better

I have both and both great games. I would have to go with MB by a little.

MB - More overall playing fun.

SS - Adult comedy. (and ribbed)

This is exactly what I was going to write as well

I have owned both and SS is still here. Simple game but that's what I like about it and the sounds and quotes are great.

I completely understand why people like MB...theme, gameplay, sounds, etc., but for me, I hate the game. I've restored about a dozen of them and after getting the playfields back in the games, I'll spend a good half a day play testing and fine tuning things and after listening to the music that plays over and over and over and over while you play, I want to push the game over a cliff.

It's not just me. I've got a good friend that feels the same way. Something as simple as this is why you need to put some time in playing whatever game you're thinking of buying.

Monster Bash for me, but I hope to own a Scared Stiff someday. It's an excellent game.
