I'm this close to saying that would be my grail pin right now - a colorized Pinball Magic. I can't explain why without staying up well past my bedtime but, fuck yeah.

I could see the backlight burning out after half a dozen or so years but that LCD should go a pretty long time unless you poke it with a screwdriver or something. I tossed a couple 12-15 year old LCD panels from my test bench last time I moved, they all still worked.

I think some of those titles are colorized on PIN2DMD already. I'm working on one right now and so far it has been fairly self-explanatory, I figure 20 hours ballpark to complete. Considering the cost savings, I'm surprised there's not more activity on that front.
