Ok guys. Four out of the 8/9 options in the last poll

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/which-colordmd-do-you-want-poll-included/page/8

have been colored as well as a major choice for other (X-Men). That poll was created 9 months ago. Time for a new poll! Let your voices be heard!!

Quoted from epthegeek:

How many people are really going to spend 400 bucks on a display for Austin Powers?

Why bother with the list? As if there is some game that WOULDNT be improved by color?

How many do you think purchased a display for Popeye?

If I owned a AP, and it's a theme I'd love to own, I'd buy a ColorDMD for sure.

I have an Elvis that is going to be the nicest Elvis in existence and it has a ColorDMD in it now. I doubt it's high on anyone's list though which sucks.

Don't get me wrong. Popeye was and is my favorite cartoon. If there was a nice one locally, I'd try to get it and I'd def put a ColorDMD in it.

I was just saying that even if a few owners of AP buy one, it's still worth it to me to see it colored if I owned the game. Prob not worth it to the artist I guess unless it's a personal project like your Popeye

I have an Elvis. I doubt any artist is currently working on this title. I'm willing to offer a bounty to get it colorized. Any artist not currently working on a title or about to wrap one up please PM me. I'll make the bonus worth it.

I wonder if ColorDMD would disclose how many artists they currently have working for them. That would be interesting to know.

#116 7 years ago

Haha nope. Clearly I'm a fan of color and the product. Every game I've owned, I put a ColorDMD in. I've assisted with some titles when given the privilege.

I'm probably jealous of you E and others who have access behind the colored curtain. That's why I'm constantly beating the drum of transparency and having more inside info being available on titles worked on, number of artists, what Randy enjoys for breakfast etc

Quoted from DCFAN:

I know it does not answer your question, but I think Randy mentioned there were about 20 games in various stages of coloring presently.
He did not say whether some artists were working on multiple titles and did not give an exact number of games in development.

No it's good info. Randy has been great to answer what he can or what he feels comfortable. I wish he wasn't so worried about giving false hope or setting expectations if he shows too much of his hand.

Pretty sure you'll change your mind once you see it colorized.

I agree. Color everything!

Quoted from Max_Badazz:

I would love Congo to be colorized now (since a local one recently fell on my lap). Dirty Harry would look good too.... Meathead giving me the extra ball in color As far as Sterns, TWD needs color

I personally hope Congo is done last so Milton can continue his crying

Crossing the threads? I like that.

My douchbaggery is so strong, one thread can't contain it.
