I've played both Stern Stingray and Stern Pinball. Both are running the exact same ROMs, both have the same number of drop targets, same chimes etc...but the layout really makes a huge difference. Both are great but I prefer Pinball - better flow, a LOT more action and much more random ball direction. I'm really disapointed to hear that the PHOF's is a "yawner" cause Pinball is one of the fastest early SS machines that I had ever played. That's the #1 reason why I bought it
